Board them and arrest the crew. If they resist sink them.

You are stupid. You have no clue about Iran. I spelled it out clearly and you lack the where withall to understand
You cling to archaic fantasy that is devoid of reality

That 300 BB figure is a BP estimate of some kind, but all of that is not recoverable which is what counts; Venezuela has only 95 BB recoverable The US has 264 BB recoverable. I'll [ostthe pic but now sure the site will allow it, any way

There are various maritime tracking sites - that was taken from one of them and posted on twitter.

"Who is buying this heavy sulfur crude?" I think the tankers contain gasoline, not crude.
Venezuela's crude is already very high sulfur and they have plenty of it. What they lack is refining capacity, previously depending on US refineries. But with sanctions, and the much higher availability of low-sulfur "sweet" crude from fracking, US refineries have mostly switched away from the difficult-to-refine Venezuelan crudes.

You have no clue about Iran.
As Trump points out, Iran was very happy about the US invasion of Iraq and taking out their No1 enemy, Saddam. You neocons really outdid yourselves with that one

"Cant sink loaded tankers." Don't sink'em. Hit them above the waterline with incendiaries. Gasoline both floats well and burns well while floating.

Cant sink loaded tankers.
sure can. one well placed MK 48 would do the job. Worried about an oil slick? All the volatiles will evaporate in a day or so. Currents will carry the slick to Venezuela beaches no one uses and will sink into the sand. Gone. What about the birds? Talk to the windpower people if that’s a concern

Wait maybe we could get some Russian boats to come in and offer shooting tours like they do in the Indian Ocean - live fire AK74s and such at the Pirates, with Spetsnaz protecting - in case some one acts up. What fun!!

They have placed some Russian weapons on one offshore island - a BUK system with one (1) missile.

Wouldn't it be fun to hack into their nav system and have them doing big circles out in the Atlantic? Keep it up until they run out of fuel / food.

It would be a PR disaster of such an extent the Pres could kiss any hope of re-election goodbye.
Unthinkable IMO.

“Doesnt Iran only have about half the refining capacity that they need to meet their own needs?”
My impression is the mullahs have the attitude, “F#ck the people. We have a jihad to win. The people can make more of themselves. They are a renewable resource. When we need more we will take wives from the Christians.”

Ive heard Pompeo go after China numerous times.
He didnt push for the travel ban. That was Navarro. Pompeo is too focused on building border walls - in the Middle East, not on the US border.
