Joe Biden alleged the prosecutor was corrupt, has anyone in the media asked Biden for an example of the corruption?
Good idea. If Biden has ever known of any specific allegations, he sure couldn’t come up with them now. He’d just sputter and look guilty.
The mixed blessing of asking the question is that the media will desperately look for examples of corruption to bail Joe out — and we are talking about Ukraine, so that might not be too hard. The audio clips in a recent post feature then President Poroshenko telling Biden that there is zero evidence of wrongdoing by Shokin, but he’s asked him to resign just because Joe asked (as a condition of getting the $1B). Biden does not disagree with him. The upside is that some “journalist” might stumble onto what was really going on.
My guess is that the US embassy was neck deep in CIA and DoS interference in Ukraine, fueled by a heavy dose of corrupt cash. In exchange for protection, Burisma supplied cash, or laundered US gov’t cash, used to buy “support” for political factions the US preferred. Paying off Hunter Biden put on the Burisma board as a by-product of these operations, both as a bagman and spy, of which he was only good at the bagman part.
