I hate using a direct deposit but acquiesced in this case and got my check 10 days later.

Let’s see, under the limit (to not receive one), filed online and paid via direct deposit last 10+ years (and they certainly have no problem taking my money), no outstanding debts, and the website says they have no clue (Payment Status Not Available).
Oh, wait, I checked the website again just now and it says paper check to be mailed May 22nd. Wow, finally. I had last checked Friday. . .
They missed the first reason, and her name is Nanzi Pelosi.

First is would be deposited in bank account on 4/22. Nope
Then would be deposited on May 10th. Nope
Finally mailed on the 12th. Yep

TLA = SSN, the only TLA I used. Do you know what SSN means?
The next one was ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number), I can see that not being readily known, but it has 4 letters. My wife has an ITIN because by US Law I’m required to report her Thai Income on my taxes and she does not have an SSN.
The last is USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) that is doing the processing of her visa. But that has 5 letters.
