I hope you have a marvelous Sunday today in the worship of our Heavenly Father through the example and salvation of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

Likewise...

I hope you had a marvelous Sunday yesterday in the knowledge that you'll have to pass by Joseph Smith to make it into any level of the LDS heaven you trust so much in.

Office of First President & Living Prophet®:

Reissued March 22, 2015

Heads up; MORMON faithful -

Remember to stay on our mantra: We ARE Christians!!

We've been taking a beating on the Internet - especially from those hateful ANTIs on  FreeRepublic!

We MUST keep the media constantly informed of those things the world considers christian.

We must NOT allow our MORMONness to show thru, as it has gotten a really bad rap thru history - lord only knows why...

Very simply. I love God my Father in Heaven and like the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, I praise and worship him.

I also understand that we all have much to learn about God and Christ and I rely on the Holy Ghost to lead me to his knowledge.

Personal revelation from God is the highest form of godly knowledge.

Daniel: (44) And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

(45) Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Isaiah 2:2

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.”

Personal revelation from God is the highest form of godly knowledge.

If this statement is TRUE; as you claim; then why doesn't your chosen religion hand out copies of the Doctrines & Covenants and ask people to read them and then pray about the claimed truths found therein?

I think there is a good chance that Mitt will become a Democrat and replace Biden

Geez, hadn't considered that one...sounds zany enough to be very possible.
Good one!

Isaiah 2

1This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:

2 In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
    as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and all nations will stream to it.

3 Many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

4 He will judge between the nations
and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.

Looks like your (MormonISM's) attempt to say that the MOUNTAINS around SLC is where it'll all take place.
But CONTEXT seems to be your worst enemy.

BTW; just WHEN is this ZION that is supposed to be buit ever going to occur?
Surely you've enough City Centres, real estate holdings and cattle ranches and so forth by now.
Why doesn't your Living Prophet petition the LOrd about it in earnest; like the Black skin issue was???

You failed to select a really good verse that would PROVE Mormonism correct: for it was found in the BIBLE!

Daniel 2:47
The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

The Prophet Joseph and those who accompanied him to Missouri in the summer of 1831 were joyful to learn that Jackson County was the location of the latter-day Zion.
https://www.lds.org/manual/church-history-in-the-fulness-of-times-student-manual/chapter-elevenexpulsion-from-jackson-county?lang=eng

Late in June 1833 the Prophet sent a plan for the building up of the city of Zion and its accompanying temple to the Saints in Missouri. The city was designed for fifteen to twenty thousand people and “was to be one mile square, with ten-acre blocks, divided into one-half-acre lots, one house to the lot.”10A complex of twenty-four “temples” was to be built and used as houses of worship. The schools were to be located on two central city blocks. Lands on the north and south of the city were to be used for barns, stables, and farms. The farmer, as well as the merchant and mechanic, was to live in the city to enjoy all the social, cultural, and educational advantages.

ibid

Note: One mile square does NOT equal 5,000 acres.

D&C 58:9-12

9 Yea, a supper of the house of the Lord, well prepared, unto which all anations shall be invited.
10 First, the rich and the learned, the wise and the noble;
11 And after that cometh the day of my power; then shall the poor, the lame, and the blind, and the deaf,
come in unto the marriage of the Lamb, and partake of the supper of the Lord, prepared for the great day to come.

12 Behold, I, the Lord, have spoken it.

Yea, the Lord seems to have 'spoken' something else earlier...

James 2:2-5  King James Version

2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

and again...

Matthew 19:23
And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 21:31b
Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.

Mark 10:23
And Jesus, looking around, said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!”

Luke 18:24
And Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
