Democrats know how to use their majority in the House, they know the value of investigations, and they know the value of declassifying documents, which is why they don’t declassify documents. That is their point of contact with Republicans who also don’t like to declassify documents, especially when it would further the interest of Trump and the Republicans.

I do not think that the Democrats know the meaning of "unprecedented." There is always a sea change that accompanies a change in administrations. Do the Democrats think that Obama is still in charge? Is that what Democrats mean when they talk about a shadow government?
