He’s probaby assuming at least one of the Dems voting yes was given permission by the party as cover. If Mitch votes yes one of those Dem would be instructed to vote no.
I listened to Dan Bongino yesterday, and he had a recording of a softball interview between Biden and the Clinton Midget (Stephanopolous, I think)
He asked Biden if he was at that infamous January 5, 2017 meeting where all the conspirators were there to talk about what to do about Flynn...including Biden. All the usual suspects, Obama,Biden, Comey, Brennan, Yates, Clapper.
Biden, in his weak, tremulous old man voice, said “I didn’t know anything!” and Stephanopolous just let him prevaricate his way out of it.
Are you really that naive? The Democrats dragged the POTUS through the mud for 3 years with charges made out of thin air. The GOP can’t wait 6 weeks or so. They want to throw any advantage away ASAP. The Dems could teach us a thing or two about timing.

McConnell would be thrilled if these Obama crooks were brought to justice by Rand Paul or anyone else.
He just doesn’t want to lead the charge on anything “partisan”, because he is Leader of a razor thin majority and he needs to work with Democrats to get anything done - confirming judges, etc..
It when push comes to shove - Kavanaugh, impeachment, etc.. he is definitely one of the good guys.
If voters could provide him with a handful of additional Republican Senators (and please no Romney’s, McCains, or Flakes) he would be able to throw his weight around.
Officially, he is Senate Majority Leader, but for practical purposes, it is a dead tie.

If I recall correctly, it was worse than that. Stephie asked him if he knew about Flynn, and in his answer he said he didn't know anything about the "investigation" of Flynn. Stephie, knowing Biden just stepped in clinton, reminded him that he was in the January 5, 2017 meeting with the rest of the conspirators. Biden then said , oh, I thought you said "prosecution", yes I knew about the investigation, but that's it. He knew nothing else. He lied with his own words by previously saying he didn't know anything about the Flynn investigation.
Most Americans don’t understand “unmasking” because the left redefined everything. The American people are rather retarded. All of this is a waste of time. NOTHING will be done but get some people agitated or excited.
