.....Buried deep inside Pelosi’s massive 1,800-page legislation bill.....

Here’s just a few....

- the bill would suspend a tax provision for two years that limits tax breaks for upper-income households in high-tax states, something Democrats have tried to change for several years.

- requires the Occupational Safety and Health Admin. to issue a strong national standard within 7 days requiring all workplaces to implement infection control plans and prevent retaliation against workers who report problems.

- $25 billion for the U.S. Postal Service

- $400 million to the Census Bureau

Exactly. Whatever happened to the Appropirations process? These omnibus spending bills were the brainchild of Newt Gingrich back in the day when Bill Clinton was threatening to shut the government down every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Back then, they were called Continuing Resolutions. Somehow that morphed into Omnibus Spending Bills. Goodbye, debate and discussion, hello, massive debt.

Partner, I also though the drunkard Speaker John Boenher and Rino Paul both should have started the Appropriations process but they stayed on the Continuing Resolutions and the Continuing Omnibus Spending Bills.

The Appropriations Bills must be put into the yearly budget process and not this convoluted garbage called the Omnibus Bills that Congress keeps sending to our POTUS.
Sam Rayburn who was a very good democrat sent in yearly budgets to our POTUS.

Sam Rayburn from Texas was the last great Speaker from the our great State of Texas.

Thanks, but it’s all academic at this point - Pelosi’s wish-list has no prayer of getting Senate buy-in, and even if it did, Trump has zero reason to repeal a major feature of the taxpayer relief bill he got passed just a couple of years ago. It’s fair that the deduction is capped, and it’s up to those of us living in high tax states to make our displeasure with our state governments known and vote at the ballot box and with our feet. Mine will be headed out of California as soon as practical.

Pelosi’s bill makes Indiana and Wisconsin pay Illinois debts. And Pennsylvania will pay NYs debts. Its really a big scam for red states to pay debts of blue states

Talk about a rich get richer scheme. SALT is for people with homes over half a million, but it mostly affects homes over a million.

“This bill also lets wealthy people who make money from dividends and royalties claim the earned income tax credit, which is an anti-poverty provision.”

The bill helps the 'other side' of the democrat party - that part that props up their 'elites'... lots of money for criminals, illegals, junkies, homeless, and 'people of color'... any color other than white and traditional...

Pelosi crafted a bill for democrats with their hands out... heavy toward corrupt elites... but plenty for the rest of 'em. She even has money for liberal lobbyist in there... I mean they DO write the legislation we pay our Representatives to write...

Exactly. The goal is to do completely away with the middle class so there is NO chance for entrepreneurs to exist. Socialism.

In your dreams Nancy. This ridiculous bill will die a quick death in the Senate. And if, by some miracle, it should pass the Senate, President Trump will veto it. Hopefully at a rally, or at least in a prime time special.
