The media is just having too much fun scaring the heck out of the pansies in America! As usual, truth is not important.
Those hornets are bad juju. I had to get rid of European hornets one year, kinda fun (they attack lights at night), but scary big.
They kill honey bees by the millions! get them outta here!
We only have 10.4 years left to destroy capitalism and bring about utopia where there’s no murder hornets and everyone is vaccinated against free thinking. Hurry, dress up in all white and hold your hands over your ears while grimacing. Credibility galore.

Ok. And if that was presented as the issue, I’d still be concerned, and the idiots in the American public wouldn’t be terrorized.
They are mean, nasty and their venom dissolves human flesh. There was a documentary about them last night on Animal Planet.
Somebody posted about those things a couple of weeks ago on Facebook. I did a quick google search on them and read a couple of articles and realized, meh. They’re big. So are carpenter bees. One entomologist said she preferred their sting to a bee sting because it doesn’t linger. Think Wasabi vs Ghost pepper.
And I, for one, welcome our new Murder Hornet overlords.

It’s not an official crisis until somebody on the internet finds and posts a Nostradamus quatrain that kind of, sort of, can be stretched to the point of almost being interpreted to have predicted it.
