Berks, Lancaster, and Bucks are all in the “SE region” as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health which is of course run by the Tyrannical Trannie aka Dr. (Dickless) “Rachel” Levine whose only “medical” credential was having been a Psychologist specializing in adolescents.

PennLive/Spotlight PA had an excellent expose published on Saturday showing how not only were nursing homes forced to take COVID patients, they have been essentially unsupervised, uninspected, and unaccountable since mid-March.
With "No Visitor" policies the residents are worse off than prisoners. Totally helpless.
I'm glad that there is a HELL because there WILL be paybacks.

My mother’s assisted living community has been in in individual room lockdown for the last 10 days after my mother was diagnosed with COVID. She passed about an hour after I got the word from the hospital that her 2nd test resulted in a positive. I hadn’t seen her in over 6 weeks due to the lockdown.
So yes. We are letting prisoners out of prison early because officials realize the risk of people living in institutional settings are at extreme risk. But the cavalier way those same officials treated assisted and independent living communities just doesn’t fit. Criminal incompetence.
Philadelphia is just West Camden. All the counties along the Delaware from Bucks on up thu the Poconos are significant bedroom communities for people fleeing the property taxes in New Jersey.

years back I used to do an annual bicycle ride from Lititz to State College, and I’d go right through the wilds of Mifflin county; the Amish there appear significantly different from Lancaster’s, their buggies have different colors...
that was a great ride; sometimes I’d go the back way through the Kish Valley and up 305 to 26 (great hills) or straight up 322 into 144 and Centre Hall...no matter how you slice it, an invigorating ride, and the last time I did it I knew it would be the last time...
