Washington, DC – Today, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is making available to the public 57 transcripts, as well as additional material, from the Committee’s investigation in 2017 and 2018 into Russia’s interference campaign targeting the 2016 U.S. election.

They’re not redacted, their censuring. Why would you refuse recording devices by the press, at least, hide the names of people within the committee that were asking question, but call it an unclassified interview when nothing within the interview other than the names of the questioning staff was redacted? If anything had been redacted, it would have been colored over. The only other way to not show the content within the interview is to not type it into the transcript at which time they are misrepresenting the content of the interview. In short, they are spinning with leaving out information, or lying about the content.

So does Grenell getting these released get them into the hands of Durham? I’m thinking Durham could not review all of these transcripts—testimony all made under oath—of so many of these shady actors and compare their testimony with what the rest of his investigation shows without Grenell forcing their release from HPSCI.
