I don’t know that purposefully is the right word. In the 50s they didn’t understand DNA, let alone viruses. The problem isn’t so much they made a mistake in the vaccines as much as the continual denial and cover up of genuine scientific evidence. From what I’ve read of Salk’s early vaccines, there were more than this problem. Other scientists were also silenced and their careers destroyed because of their data as well. My husband’s family in the midwest had several children contract polio from faulty vaccines.

I’m not an “anti-vaccine” person, but I do have a concern that the COVID19 virus might be related to a failure in China’s AIDS vaccine program. They had just been working on a second stage trial of a new vaccine shortly before the COVID19 epidemic broke out. Fauci and Brix’s involvement in the Coronavirus Task Force makes perfect sense, since both their careers have been in fighting the AIDS epidemic.

The problems with the search for an AIDS vaccine is covered in another book called PLAGUE by Judy Mikovits (PhD) detailing her 35 year work in the NIH (and the destruction of her career when she published a paper Fauci didn’t like). It made me wonder if this is the reason why the President keeps calling COVID19, “the plague?”

For what it’s worth, My father was in the US Army in the 1950’s. Due to some SNAFU medical record keeping, he received multiple polio vaccines.

If I recall the story correctly, it was either after 5, or on the 5th on that he flatly refused to be vaccinated again...

After a bit of a row, the Army figured out that he’d been vaccinated previously, and that the record keeping just hadn’t kept up. Anyway, some brief time later my mother conceived a male child who was born with leukemia. This child, their first, did not survive the disease.

My father died in May of 1987 at the age of 51 years, and to his last day; he believed that the Army’s polio vaccines had cost him a son.

Now I suspect that he may have been right.

I am sure he was right. My dad had vaccines in the navy during the Korean conflict. He wound up with mesothelioma as did many of those given the shots during that time. His brother, who was on the same battleship, also got cancer of the bone. Interesting 2 farmers who neither drank or smoke wind up with a cancer when not a single of other family member before on either side did. We are being poisoned. Period.

These paralyses must have been from the Sabin oral vaccine, not the Salk vaccine. The Salk vaccine used attenuated virus pieces, not “live” virus.

Your dad’s mesothelioma was more likely due to exposure to asbestos and/or fiberglass insulation. (I worked briefly in a shipyard, and I knew several older guys who subsequently suffered with or died from mesothelioma.) If he served during the Korean War, his service preceded the Salk and Sabin vaccines. However, there is some evidence that SB-40 contaminants in polio vaccines can accentuate the adverse effects of asbestos/fiberglass exposure on mesothelioma.
