It is with a very heavy heart that I am announcing that the TCMS will be no more. humblegunner & I had a serious discussion about this several months ago and we both agreed it was time for it to end.
The past several years I have dreaded planning this event, even though there isn't a lot to the planning as it has become a well oiled machine. It just doesn't seem the same anymore.
We have a great 14 year run! I will definitely miss seeing all of you at this event. Know that I adore all of you. Much love to everyone.

I’ve seen many pictures of this shoot over the years.
If I had to guess, I’d say shooting comes in third place. Behind eating and drinking.

I have a suggestion. The planning of the shoot and logistics has become burdensome and most unfortunately we seem to be dying due to age as did our beloved Texas Cowboy, aka El Roy.
Perhaps a few of us “hard core: would just like to get together at a park or motel or an individuals home and drink adult beverages and reminess. I will still cook Brisket for all. Much apologies for not making last years shoot. I was in Canada.
This is so heartbreaking, but I understand.
I will miss you all SO much!

Well, I got to attend the very last one. Lots and lots of fun.
How about something in Georgia?

We could still plan a shoot every year. Doesn’t have to involve Hummergunner. Put it up for grabs on a regional basis and see who wants to pick it up.
I know I’d try to go. As long as Hummgergunner was a participate and not involved in organizing it I’d probably go a good ways

Either that or plan a shoot that DOESN’T involve Hummergunner. It would probably be more laid back and enjoyable. Hell, I’d go to that for sure!

You may like him but there are plenty of us that dislike him. Doesn’t matter either way. We tolerate :)
