She’s a control freak and just went against other doctors that see these masks as very harmful, including the fact that they are contaminated breeding grounds for disease.

Umm pardon me Dr. Birx - but the CDCs own science says that mask wearing by healthy individuals has NOT been shown to prevent getting the virus.

“Devastating worry” is not a mental state conducive to the practice of science or to rational thought. She is not speaking as a scientist here, so one wonders why her words here have more weight than anyone else’s in the country.
