A frontline nurse working in New York on coronavirus patients claims the city is killing sufferers by putting them on ventilators.
'It's a horror movie,' she said through a friend. 'Not because of the disease, but the way it is being handled.'
And she said relatives of the sick need to make it clear as soon as a person is taken to the hospital that they do not want them hooked up to the breathing machines.
The nurse, who has relocated to New York temporarily to help with the city's COVID-19 crisis, persuaded a friend — a nurse practitioner who is not working on coronavirus patients — to make the video for her in order to tell the world what she says is happening inside hospitals.
'I am her voice here. I'm going to tell you what she has told me,' said the nurse practitioner, who was identified only as Sara NP. 'She wants this to get out.'
'She has never seen so much neglect. No one cares. They are cold and they don't care anymore. It's the blind leading the blind.'

That is a very traumatic procedure. If they could catch this earlier and adminster the right cocktails much of that would be avoided. We had a radio guy out here who declined ventilator and got better with just oxygen - and hydroxychloroquine and zpack. He didnt mention zinc.

What hit home for me was “there are no family advocates between you and your care takers. Your are brought in, your scared, your alone, your sedated, you will sign anything because you are terrified, your are put on a ventilator and you have no Idea if your even given medication and if so what medications. ALONE no family member present to look after your best interest, left there to die FRIGHTENING. Amazing we have to go to England to find stories about America. Remember when we had a press that sought the truth?
Who knows if this is even true? Is she a hoax? Maybe, as gruesome as it might be, they should let the TV cameras in for a day to let people see for themselves? For centuries they have tried to shield the public from the gruesome aspects of it all. Maybe that’s a mistake. They don’t seem to have any compunction about war or immigrant children drowned on the beach. Maybe we should drop the pretense of dignity in death for a day or two so people can see for themselves.

Great idea...although I must admit I am worried about the President’s health. On top of all that Presidents go through, aging them quickly, he’s had impeachment, three of it, concerns about China which he expressed before he was elected, and now a global pandemic. Yet he still looks great! Superhuman!

There was a frontline ER doctor that said ventilators are hurting people. He was removed from his job.

My Mom had COPD and would have shortness of breathing attacks and she had to have breathing treatments at the hospital. She got better and I told the doctors that I didn’t want her intubated. I went home and was exhausted so I turned my phone off for a few hours to get some sleep. I never turn my phone off. When I turned it on later the doctor called and said my Mom had been transferred to another hospital and she had been intubated and passed away. The directive for nonintubation didn’t get relayed. Once an elderly person is intubated it’s over.
