Low energy prices are good for the economy. It's low energy consumption that is the big problem.
All economic activity consumes energy. It is not possible to produce wealth without consuming some kind of energy. Energy consumption and GDP are really the exact same thing just from different perspectives. Cheaper energy increases the economy as a whole while expensive highly taxed and regulated energy destroys it.
