This takes guts and real leadership.
Compare this to Cuomo, his outrageous demands, and his fawning media.
As to the “lock down” in NC, our county and our city.
Open - grocery stores, tobacco shops, gas stations, corner drug stores, most big box stores, local government and services - DMV license is closed while registration is open with social distancing, all the postal/mail services, liquor stores, fast food drive through, chain restaurants with take out only and much much more. Mostly Mom & Pop stores are closed and manufacturing.
Our Mayor still has a 9:00PM to 6:00AM curfew on us - nobody can figure out why.
Still can’t get a hair cut.
You cannot *quarantine* healthy people.
You cannot *lockdown* healthy people.
The only word I found that fit our present situation is *internment*.

Good for Kemp. On this issue, I think he is right. I disagreed with him when he appointed “The Trophy Wife “ to the Senate seat instead of Rep. Collins, but on this one he is correct. Other States ought to follow his lead.
In this instance, I don’t understand why President Trump is all over this guy.
President Trump needs to be doing this for ALL of us and sticking it to the tyrannical Democrat Governors (like mine!) who would keep us locked up, the Capitol locked up and the American Flag that is usually flying over her - DOWN!
If Governor Evers (D, Putz, WI) feels we’re in ‘crisis,’ then fly the flag upside down...but fly OUR flag!
Businesses should be able to reopen now and the people should be free to go to the businesses of their choosing or to stay home.

I think Trump is still upset with Kemp for appointing the “Trophy Wife” of his old rich donor to the Senate seat over the objections of Trump who wanted Rep. Collins appointed.
Agree completely! And like the post above yours, I have no idea either why Trump made such a stink of this. This time, I’m with Kemp.
I love President Trump; his hands were tied on this one by the media and the Democrats, so I do not really blame him for this incredible boondoggle. However, throwing Governor Kemp under the bus has the appearance of calculated political hedge betting in case the numbers from Georgia take an unwanted turn. It is very distasteful. This was played poorly and I expect to see some back pedaling soon.
Oregon is opening elective medical procedures next Friday.
The boondoggle I am referring to is the entire national response to he coronavirus outbreak not this particular situation.
It’s a chance for Kemp to be a hero or a goat. You can be sure that Real Governor Abrahms and her feeders...I mean handlers...will be watching closely (from their seats on the opposing team’s side), hoping many people get sick.
We will learn something in any case.

We were discussing this at work yesterday and one of the wharehouse guys said “Why would they come back? They got 1,200 for themselves, 500 for each of their children and 4,200 a month, which is double what they were making”

Rush always said Trump is the only one who separate him from his base. He’s on his way to doing that after Trump ripped Kemp again yesterday. It looks like Trump has turned the show over to Dr Doom and Deborah. He appears to be smitten by Brix. They sent Deborah to talk to Trump and the next we know Trump is on the phone trying to get Kemp to back down. 26 million unemployed based on the BS charts Deborah and Fauci put in front of Trump yet they have lost no credibility with Trump.
No overrun hospitals, a mortality rate below 1%, a destroyed economy, the rats pushing mail voting and it’s still “what do you think Deborah?”.
A caller to the Mike Gallagher show said that she was from Georgia and she and everyone around her is very happy at this decision by the governor. I say, the people should be the dictators of the government, not the other way around. We’ve put up with this for far too long. Jobs lost domestic abuse, including child abuse, increased suicide and murder rates that’s it. That’s enough
