And worse, if that happens we will be in a truly horrific economic disaster which may take years to get out of. People will be afraid to go to work, shop, etc. I am so disgusted by the selfishness of those who refuse to protect others. They are truly a blight on our society.
Well, we don't have a vaccine for HIV or even the common cold either, and they have had decades to develop one. Are we going to cower down for the rest of our lives in hopes that MAYBE we will have a vaccine? I think not.

The masks don’t work. Social distancing is a joke. The reality is, if we get those who are most vulnerable to a point where they’re cared for and supported and isolated to prevent massive deaths, we can eliminate most of the problem. Most people, this is like a mild to bad case of the flu. It has been completely mishandled by the political insanity of the left. From outlawing treatments because Trump dared mention it to housing sick in the same buildings as the most vulnerable among us, it has been proven that the left is bound and determined to kill as many as possible, and leave this destructive set of policies in place until after the election.
There is no science backing the masks for many reasons. Simplest two are that the virus passes through without issue, (as is proven by scatter tests repeatedly) and that people are not trained to use the masks properly.
There is no science backing the shutdowns (as has been shown repeatedly by many studies). The only science involved so far with this whole fiasco is political science.
It is going to be hard for us to recover from the devastation that the left has created. There should be criminal charges against deBlasio, Cuomo, Newsome and many more.
There won’t be, but they should be behind bars for their complicity into the deaths of over 80,000 Americans from their actions. They want to blame Trump, but they are lying. They want to put masks on you to see if you comply. They want to practice “social distancing” to control you. What good is 6 feet of distance between two people going to do if the virus is actually able to spread 14 feet from a cough and 25 from a sneeze? But, hey, you go ahead and believe. When they come along and order those who haven’t been exposed yet to get into the cattle cars to go to special protection units, you’ll gladly line up, 6 feet apart, with your masks, to go?
Stop being a sheep.
Quarantine for the sick is risk management.

Instead of looking at pictures, you might try reading a little history. During the Spanish Flu pandemic mask mandates were never universal, even within states, and lasted for a few weeks at most. The current governmental edicts are completely unprecedented in the history of this country.

We are also creating a generation of people who will be afraid of their own shadow.
I saw a mother pushing a stroller,a baby of about 18 months old, a toddler (2 1/2? I am a mother so I can guess ages pretty well).
Not only was she wearing a mask (understandable but unnecessary since we were outside in the sun), she had BOTH of her children wearing masks.
These children are growing up frightened. Childhood in the United States should not be like that.

Even the window paint was tasty. I played in mud, and waded in the swamp as a preteen. I survived through it all. Your body fights with anti bodies, ya gotta get them into the system as a kid so when you get old, they are already inside you to fight whatever virus or germ tries to hurt you. Immunity has to be built up.
