Other flags expressing personal bias such as white supremacy (swastikas), or black slavery (confederacy) are also divisive and inappropriate symbols in our courtrooms, Hernandez said in a written statement. I may not be able to turn the dark tide of legalized immorality infecting our nation like a virus, but in my small way, I voiced my support of traditional American family values.

Homosexual acts should have remained illegal everywhere.

A judge’s bench is not an office cubicle where you can showcase your Troll collection and pictures of your cats.

What? No Mexico Flag either?
I would flat out refuse to have a case heard in this dyke’s courtroom.

The courtroom is about The Law, not any individual judge.
It’s not to be decorated as you’d do your bedroom walls or refrigerator.
Too much identity symbols may indicate a particular bias to other people. A judge should already know that. She probably could have had all the other colorful items still present, had it not been for that Gay Flag. Not appropriate.

Agree about the flag, think the pen and mouse pad business may be over the top

Maybe she’d like to wear a rainbow poncho instead of a black robe, too.
She’s not there to be herself, she’s there to be an agent of the law of our land.
