The IG Audit: Big Problems for Comey and Pals
American Thinker.com ^ | April 17, 2020 | Monte Kuligowski

Posted on 04/17/2020 4:34:12 AM PDT by Kaslin

How could former FBI director James Comey and his accomplices be so bold as to think they could get away with spying on Carter Page, a 2016 Trump campaign adviser, when they objectively knew Page was not a Russian agent?

Answer: Because they had already corrupted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court system. Applications for warrants to spy on Americans were being approved without truthful and accurate corroboration of their allegations.

The standard for the government to obtain warrants under FISA is the highest in U.S. law because preventing terrorism and foreign danger involves the otherwise unconstitutional invasion of privacy of U.S. citizens. In theory, the facts alleged on the application have to be correct. In practice, prior to being caught, corrupt actors in charge of the relevant bureaucracies could spy on whomever they chose.

Another answer to the question posed above is that top officials at the FBI thought they would never be audited in a million years.

The Audit of the Woods Procedures

But the release of the Horowitz Report in late 2019 in which U.S. Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz found 17 inaccuracies and omissions by the FBI and “a litany of false and even falsified representations used to continue the secret investigation targeting the Trump campaign and its associates,” would lead to an IG audit of the FISA process.

Mr. Horowitz is currently auditing, but his troubling discoveries have prompted him to send a memo to FBI Director Christopher Wray prior to completing his audit.

Horowitz seems like very old news. I don’t see how anything comes of it.

At least Grenell is starting to declassify the documents to prove what we’ve known all along. I’m sure after we get a vaccine for Wuhan plague Lindsey Graham will rant and rave about how he’s going to rant and rave some more about this.

Wake me when there are indictments for Comey and other DeepState traitors that aren’t plea-bargained down to jaywalking.

puhleze.
they had already murdered innocents,
imprisoned innocents, let murderers go free,
let treason proceed from their shirt pockets,
let sex and child traffiking be covered up
by Comey’s brother no less, let Epstein
off the hook for sex and other kickbacks,
worked with foreign governments against
the USA without anyone holding them accountable.

they were, like politicians today,
TRAINED TO LIE AND PREEN and be unaccountable.

Justice is just around the corner...

This crap has been going on for 4 years or more and none of the real criminals have been indicted, brought to trial or thrown into jail.

It has been 5 years since Hillary erased 33,000 emails after they were supoenaed by congress.

It has been 4 years since Donald Trump announced his campaign for the presidency.

It has been 39 months since he was inaugurated.

In 1930-1931 it only took a little over 13 months (one year and 45 days) to build the Empire State building - a 102 story skyscraper 1,454 feet tall.

World War II from Pearl Harbor Day until VJ Day lasted 3 years and 9 months for the USA

The Civil War was over in four years - April 1861 to April 1865

But the Justice Department can’t find the backbone to prosecute their fellow insiders in spite of having a zillion pages of evidence.

Just sayin’

Comey and his band of criminals are going to hide behind the argument that if this becomes a point to put them in jail then everyone convicted by using these procedures was denied their equal protections leading to their cases being thrown out. That is why this is being glossed over. It does not take years to review these documents for legal sufficiency. At best it took two weeks. If anyone is let out of jail over this put stretch, macabe, Yates, and the rest in jail in their place.

This whole fake investigation reminds me of the Xlinton days. Every other day was a "this is it!" moment. This time we REALLY got him, he's going down!

NOTHING ever happened to him or his ilk and never will.

I think the greater trouble may be with those who wishfully think Comey, et. al. are in trouble. So far, it doesn’t look like it. Have there ever been any consequences to FBI screw ups and misbehavior (e.g., Hoover’s personal files, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Whitey Bulger, Atlanta Olympics, Robert Hanssen, etc.) ?

Don’t ya just love how our intrepid Congress critters have all hidden themselves away during this crisis. Such bravery. Such leadership. Such intelligence in putting partisanship aside to help the country. (Do I really need a tag dripping with bitter sarcasm?)

By BRIBING THE JUDGES with Big Bags of CASH, unless of course you actually believe every one of these FISA judges is just plain STUPID.
