I realize it is not a real strong point on my part, just pointing out how the mindset of growing up in an environment that did ‘hospitalize’ infected people.

No, not sure eating blood contaminated food would even give it to you. But no, I do not want ANY illnesses around my food.

My landlord turns out to be one of the ‘nervous nellies’ and appears upset at me for my (apparent to him) laxness etc.
I told him I was more concerned with the mold ‘growing’ on the side of the house than this ‘beerflu’.
He hasn’t really ‘talked’ to me since but I am not a real ‘people person’ so between that and social distancing(sounds awful Eastern European to me) I am ‘fine’.
That sounds irritating. I hope we, as a country, have our act together before the next thing hits.
