I hope Greenville, Mississippi gets sued out of existence when this is over.
Get a grip, nobody gets out of their car at drive in services. You listen on the car radio.
Our church (joined by 3 others) held two Easter Services yesterday at the local drive in.
They built a stage on top of the projection booth/snack bar for the worship team and preachers. Parking staff wore masks and gloves. We honked our horns for amen.
They even did a covid compliant wedding in between the service for a couple whose scheduled wedding could not be held with guests. So they live streamed it from the stage.
Real America is coping and cooperating to get stuff done and we will back the thugs down in court. A church in Kentucky got a federal TRO on Saturday and had their service.
Mississippians need to do the same.
It was awesome and the stage is permanent and I bet we do it at least once a year from now on, probably not on Easter, but perhaps in September when it’s cooling off but the weather is still fine.
The best part, is I can take my dog.
The old saying: “ A picture is worth a thousand words.” Well, it sure is in this instance...whadda doofus. Looks like he just escaped from an insane asylum...LOL.
