A dramatic change in the local Aldi. A week ago I was one of a few wearing a mask. Tuesday everyone was. The Aldi stocker had gloves and a mask, and the cashiers a plexiglass shield. I was there Tuesday in the middle of senior hour instead of a bit after, so perhaps its a more intelligent group of shoppers.
Yes perfect arrangement.
Patriots will start shooting as they should.
Seriously, WTF are you?
WTH happened to this site, to supposed Conservatives?
Oh yay, we’re better than Venezuela. Not.
WTF is wrong with you people?
Normal people will not put up with it and they ain’t whiners. Normal people will fight this.
Guess I’m a whiner.
I just can’t. WTF happened to this site?
Amy Acton told us to buy food for up to two weeks to limit exposure.
Yet the shelves are bare, only chicken thighs and hamburger for fresh meats, and the store puts limits on items (only one dozen eggs per customer)
Just can’t win. Looks like we lost a war
How very third world country of you.
Really people?
Fascinating how you people think this is normal? Or ok.
Is this America? The new America? The new normal?
OMG.
You supposedly conservatives consider this normal.
Yeah we’re screwed.
Thats true, but the smart governors (mostly Republican) are champing at the bit. Once Trump gives the thumbs up, that will give them political cover and they wont waste any time opening things back up.
That will put the Dummie governors under enormous pressure to follow suit, even though they dont want to.
Dummy governors won’t be able to sit by and watch the revenues flooding to non-dummy govs.
Push comes to shove Trump can use the National Defense Production Act to order businesses open.
Checkmate, Dems.
“The Virus” You’re just shopping, nobody else is, and you’re afraid of getting “the virus?”
They’re just going there because they are bored? Not because they’re shopping for things they need, of course.
And you probably got “the virus” because young people just go there for no reason. Not like they have to shop for food or anything, lol. Only old people shop for needed food or toilet paper or other items.
OMG.
Older folks tried to do social distancing but the younger folks didn’t allow it.
OMG
And we wonder why we lose.
LMAO come to South Jersey. We’re fully stocked now after a month. We got toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, wipes, but now we’re short on frozen foods and dairy. Lots of meat though.
Welcome to Venezuela. You wanted it, you got it.
But maybe you got “the virus” lmao
Because that counts? LMAO
Take temp and no one goes in the store unless they have a mask...
That happens when the government extends martial law, even though they ain’t calling it that.
When Fauci and Birx give their dire predictions, and State governments threaten the populace, people panic and stock up.
Welcome to Socialism.
Good for Schnucks - wish Publix would follow their lead... AND All customers should be wearing masks... then you've got perfection...
In the past there was a reason to go to Walmart: save a few bucks. Now, there is no reason to go to Walmart. Drive away from whatever city you are in, about an hour should do it. Find a strip mall with an Aldi. Shop there.
The last supermarket I was in did that, but the arrows on the floor were almost the same color as the flooring so I didn't even realize they were there until I was just about ready to leave.
What stores need to do is get rid of those cardboard advertising display racks for specific products that clog the aisles and make it impossible for more than one person to get by them at a time.
And shoppers need to realize that if they have to stop to browse, they should move their cart to the side instead of parking it smack dab in the middle of the aisle.
And most of all, stores need to get rid of those damn beeping google-eyed robots.
And in NJ, Walmart’s pick up and or delivery, collapsed.
Shop Rite, BJs, Acme, all have online orders where the next available pick up or delivery is a month from now.
So the rest of us, go into the store.
And it will continue as long as the stay at home orders and fear mongering continue. People will continue to go to the store, like me, and make sure we have stuff we need even though we have 3 freezers and 3 refrigerators full of food.
People wanted this and they got it.
So many people on the front lines. Can’t keep track.
And this is needed why? To control law abiding citizens?
And no family gatherings or parties celebrating anything.
Hmmm.
But whatever, as long as no one is having any fun anywhere or clogging up the grocery store line.
Exactly.
What are these robots? I think that’s the second time I saw someone on FR mention them. I have never seen a robot in a store.
Me too.
