I also buy TP in bulk, but the reason we are not hoarders is we don’t then double and tripple down every time there is rumor of a crisis, or we go into a minor crisis. We let the amound dwindle before we go back and buy in bulk.

Hoarders buy all they can buy/carry/see and then go back for more. That is the difference.

In fact, if everybody bought in bulk, the Great TP Shortage of 2020 would have been mild, because then all non-hoarders would still have a well stocked pantry of TP to ride out a month’s time. It would have been a non-issue.

The killer is that the hoarders ruined it for the people who only buy a 4-pack for singles or a 12-pack for a family of 4. If everybody bought in bulk, there would be no TP shortage. People like you and me did everyone else a favor by not needing to buy TP at this time.

But now, even I am getting nervous. As my 24-pack has dwindled the past month, I am thinking, will there be any new stock to replace it? I am not seeing TP on store shelves anywhere, so even I am getting nervous now.

It was not immediately clear if the toilet paper had also been stolen.
However the night stock boy gets a new set of tires.

To Live and Die in L.A was very very slick for when it came out. Hollywood makes them slicker these days but the material and actors are sub par. While the acting and material in To Live and Die in L.A was a 10 out 10. How about Darlene Fluegal? John Tuturro? The actors were not stars. This movie came out of nowhere. Even Wang Chung put in a superior performance.

Diagnosed at age 56 with early onset Alzheimer’s disease,[4] Fluegel died at her home in Orlando, Florida[2] on December 15, 2017 at the age of 64.[4]

I remember that too. Now that you mention it.

"Fluegel had the main role in the first season of the NBC drama series Crime Story from 1986 to 1987.[3] "

Gerald Petievich also wrote To Live and Die in L.A. that was made into a great movie in 1985

I like all movies set in the nitty gritty LA underbelly. Partly because I spent 10 days there in 1986 and loved every minute. Stay in good health my friend!
