The UK government reportedly believes the coronavirus outbreak may have started in a Chinese laboratory.
Most experts believe the outbreak began when animals passed COVID-19 onto humans in China.
However, some scientists believe an accidental leak is a plausible alternative theory.
UK officials are not ruling out the possibility that a laboratory close to Wuhan accidentally leaked the virus.
A UK Parliament committee on Monday accused the Chinese government of spreading "disinformation" about the origins of the virus.
"Perhaps it is no coincidence that there is that laboratory in Wuhan," one UK government official told the Mail on Sunday newspaper.

That statement is a bit too mellow for my taste, but yep, that’s the bottom line.
I think the western leaders fully understand the situation. But it’s terribly impolite to accuse China of this act.
It really gets into the actual “crimes against humanity” thing. It’s wild-eyed and crazy to come out with such an accusation without proof and/or without other important people willing to back you up on the suspicion.
I’m pretty sure Trump feels that it was biowarfare. Sounds like the UK feels it was biowarfare. Pretty soon it will be very openly discussed and, I think, China will be ostracized and financially punished.
I wasn’t an accident.
What’s even more important is finding out who here in the USA was in collusion with them. Many of us have been smelling RAT since the very beginning. DNC, Obama, Brennen, Soros and their other DS ilk are ALL suspect in being in collusion with the CCP.
Ever wonder why the POTUS never shook the vile, demonic Botoxian’s hand at the STOTU address? Perhaps she deliberately put it on her hands and was trying to contaminate him...and he know it in advance and avoided her like the plague...no pun intended. That’s why she got so PO’ed and tore up the speech. She failed in her mission to contaminate him.
IF any of this ever comes to light, or is proven, there needs to be mass hangings for treason.
I’ve believed this from the time a paper was published by two researchers at the South China University of Technology said the same thing ( the paper was never presented for peer review, so it lies in obscurity ).

A chinese scientist released a paper about how it came from the lab and not bats as the bats in question were located 600 miles away and were not sold at the wet market.
It’s all a cover up.

I can’t see them doing this degree of secrecy and cover up for a normally occurring virus.

The coverup was definitely on purpose.
My guess is someone at the lab wanted to make a few extra yuan and sold a no-longer-needed test animal to a nearby market.
The Wuhan bi-weapons lab “accidentally” infected thousands of travelers who then dispersed it around the world? It would be most helpful if they could keep the virus delivery system on lockdown...

If it was leaked, I would question the words, “accidental leak.”
The Chinese Commies are a devious bunch who would do anything to pursue world domination. They have no regard for life as does the remainder of the world. I was in Korea in 52,53. Ask any Korean war combat veteran. The Chinese would deliberately expose their own troops to get our position, they attack en masse. The first throwing their bodies over the serpentine coils of wire and the second wave running over the bodies of their buddies, and on and on. They don’t think the way we do, they don’t believe as we do, they are different.
I don’t want to be too paranoid and I don’t want to type a long rant, but I will say this —
Sure, China has historically been a point of origin for disease. I suppose there are multiple reasons for that, and I don’t imagine that this historical trend will change any time soon. All I can do about that is shrug.
But there is at least an inkling that maybe — maybe — China created a vaccine for this thing (for internal use) and then released the virus on the world. China is either lying about it’s own death toll (likely) or else China was well-prepared and has largely escaped the ravages. In which case this is really an act of war.
What do we do about that? Do we have to wait for real “proof”? What if it happens again next year? The year after that? Every year?
If Saddam Hussein rolls his armored divisions into Kuwait, we meet him on the field of battle and push him back. But if China is intentionally infecting the world — what is the correct response? I fully support tariffs, but tariffs are waaaaaaay insufficient. I almost think nukes are the only way to tell a nation “stop with the biowarfare”.
In a country of 3,700,000 square miles, ground zero was about a block away from its most dangerous bio-lab. But I suppose it’s still racist or ignorant to suspect that it isn’t just a coincidence.
Maybe that’s what DJT meant when he publicly responded to the CCP’s attempt to blame the USA, “We know where the virus came from.”
