The U.S. economy lost a total of 701,000 jobs in March, bringing a record 10-year streak of employment gains to a halt as the coronavirus pandemic continues to hammer the workforce and shatter economic growth.

The closely watched monthly jobs data, released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, also shows the unemployment rate soared to 4.4 percentfrom 3.5 percent, after months at a half-century low.

Only because the vast majority of claims haven’t been processed yet. Connecticut reports a 5-week backlog.

It was about both.

We have a lab-product bioweapon in our midst.

And it is being leveraged to try to bring down Trump and the US.

Yea the number was surprisingly low to me anyway. But not sure if that includes the weekly job losses announced yesterday. So it may just really reflect the last couple of weeks when we shut everything down. probably 8-10% next month then. Hopefully we wont get to that 32% the fed was projecting... as painful as this is, its great what Trump has done to strengthened the economy, reduce regulations the last 3 years. Otherwise it would be pretty glum right now.

In Minnesota there have been over 300,000 unemployment claims in the last two weeks.

They’re arguing on the business channel when to go back to work

The men go now

The women who knows

Someone said FedX has 380,000 worker...CEO said 400 Got sick..

Did not say if anyone hospitalized

1 in 1000...

It’s still pretty glum.

But I hope we learn how to make things still much better coming out of this.

The bigger picture is that Trump was right about just about everything in the platform he ran on—and has been advocating for decades.

Not all perfect in terms of ramping up the response, of course, by it never is in democracies. I just hope the Fauci cabal doesn’t manage to bring him down. I don’t like having Tony in the WH or near Trump at all.

What is frightening is how quickly and easily the Left destroyed the most powerful economy in the world.

Just wait until a future president declares a climate change "emergency".

Or, more obviously, another bioweapon reaches us.

Don’t think the world isn’t watching.

Remember back in October the media a$$holes were all trying to beat each other saying “recession”? They wanted one that they could blame on Trump. They have it now, and the f*ckfaces are blaming the deaths on Trump, and by implication, the recession.

They know that hard economic times generally mean that the incumbent president doesn’t get reelected.

I don’t doubt for one second that the left is in full election campaign, and that their goal is prominent in their minds.

Stay away from the May report on April. You'll see a depression-era 30% unemployment rate.

4.4 unemployment even with Coronavirus ... about 2/3rds the Obama median unemployment rate.

We have a lab-product bioweapon in our midst.

And even if it wasn't engineered, and I'm not convinced that it wasn't. the chicoms still used it - AND ARE STILL USING IT - as a bioweapon. They are sending us faulty test kits, infected face masks. They have Typhoid Mary type carriers in our country right now going around spreading it intentionally. Coughing on food.

Would you really trust any medicine that comes from china? At this point they are sending us goods the same way we gave blankets to the American Indians.

They are waging war and we are just standing around politely dying for them so as not to ruffle chinee feathers.
