Have you proved yet whether "6 foot tall Quakers inhabit the Moon??"

‘Inhabitants of the Moon are more of a uniform size than the inhabitants of the Earth, being about 6 feet in height. They dress very much like the Quaker Style & are quite general in Style, or the one fashion of dress. They live to be very old; comeing [sic] generally, near a thousand years.' This is the description of them as given by Joseph the Seer, and he could ‘See' whatever he asked the Father in the name of Jesus to see.”

- Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., in Journal of O.B. Huntington, Book 14, p. 166

Have you proven yet whether there are "inhabitants on the Sun?"

“Who can tell us of the inhabitants of this little planet that shines of an evening, called the moon?... When you inquire about the inhabitants of that sphere you find that the most learned are as ignorant in regard to them as the ignorant of their fellows. So it is in regard to the inhabitants of the sun. Do you think it is inhabited? I rather think it is. Do you think there is any life there? No question of it; it was not made in vain.”

- Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, v. 13, p. 271

teppe, where your two prophets correct about these things??

These two men are the foundation of mormonism.

Were they nuts?

Or is this in your opinion true??

Duh ... I was talking about our discussion, that we should stick to the bible.

No wonder why you never defend your religion .... your not very good at it.

And you can eat your 6’ bowl of quaker oats on the moon by yourself.

MGHinTN says that Jesus only DNA from God the Father.

I see several problems with this interpretation.

1st Problem. Gabriel specifically told Mary that she would have a Son. This would imply that Mary contributed to this process ... and that she would not merely be a surrogate.

2nd Problem. All of the other times that conception is mentioned in the Bible, the Mother supplied the egg. For example, I’m pretty sure that when God told Eve ‘I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and conception’ that Eve biologically provided the egg.

3rd Problem. It was prophesied that Christ would be an Israelite through the tribe of Judah. If Christ had no Isrealite/Jewish genetic material this prophesy would be false.

4th Problem. St.Luke provides Mary’s genetical lineage to King David to fullfill Old Testament Prophecies. If Christ had no genetical link to David ... that would leave the prophesies unfullfilled.

5th Problem. God is immortal .... if Jesus had the complete DNA of God the Father, he could never have experienced death. Christ’s DNA was not changed to immortal until after the resurrection.

6th Problem. St.Paul’s description (1Cor 15:21) “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.” Would be totally false since Christ would have no relationship to mankind.

Summary: I’m pretty sure that your twisting biblical evidence to fit your per-conceived “Homoousios” requirement which a non-baptized Emperor Constantine dictated/coerced in the Nicene Creed. Which along with the Apostolic and particularly the Athanasian Creed is the basis for the ‘Doctrine of the Trinity’.

If it weren’t for your necessity to conform the Bible to the Creeds .... you likely wouldn’t reject the plainness of the Bible.

St.Paul understood this when he wrote:

“And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2Tim 4:4)

So you believe Joseph Smith lied, huh?

That’s what I think too.

He got started lying and couldn’t stop...

And here you are trapped in mormonism.

You once again tried to assert as true what you want to prove: you asserted, "1st Problem. Gabriel specifically told Mary that she would have a Son; This would imply that Mary contributed to this process ... and that she would not merely be a surrogate."

The Bible says Mary would conceive and bear a son. A surrogate bears the child who implants in the womb. So assuming got you nowhere, again.

Yes, I claim the DNA that built the physical body of Jesus was from God, but I have not and will not claim God The Father Almighty has DNA from God or that God would have DNA. The Word of God says flatly that God IS SPIRIT and must be worshipped in Spirit and truth. Are you claiming spirits have DNA? Where would you get that one??? You have to assume it in order to support your desired outcome, so you failed again, citing as axiomatic that which you are trying to prove for your moronic cult.

You and I do not know where GOD brought the essentails to make Jesus a Jewish human with the Life of God in His SPIRIT>. Your cult's problem is Where did the soul and spirit of Jesus originate. The Word of God tells you His Spirit was always with God AND WAS GOD IN THE VERY BEGINNING. You just will not accept that Jesus is not a created being.

Are you aware that the geneology of Jesus as a Jew is listed through Joseph, not just Mary? You can assert lots of things, but you have yet to show where the Bible explains where the chromosomes of Jesus came from to form the embryo. With access to all of time and space, it is just as reasonable that the embryonic Jesus came from Bathsheba or Ruth or Rahab. You are getting nowhere, even as you number a list of assertions without evidence.

From your cult's list (3&4) you have not shown where the chromosomes came from just that Jesus had Israeli blood so the prophecies were fulfilled. You have made assumptions to fit the thing which your are seeking to prove.

DNA is an information code. Show me proof that God the Father Almighty has DNA. You canno, so this is yet another effort to assert as proof that which you are trying to prove, namely that God was once a man who had DNA. You're so far batting 0.

In typical cultic mind meanderings, you have projected upon me the very errors your cult has taught to you. You cannot have God being doubled minded, yet that is precisely what your sexual predator founder displayed through the time he 'directed' the duped Mormons He is ushering into Hell, tou included. Not one of the items on your little list is accurate because you and I do not know from where God brought the DNA to form the Body of Jesus. Your cult founder assumed God copulated with Mary. You don't like that fact exposed, so you have an elaborate mental exercise aimed at proving God used an ovum from Mary. There is absolutely no proof of that in the Bible.

Such assumptions that your cult is founded upon might have made sense to folks not actually familiar with what can be done in embryology, but that assumption is not based in proof from The Word of God. Continue to reject truth and your heart will become so hardened to the truth that you will be a lost soul and spirit.

And here you are trapped in mormonism.

Thank the Lord, I will never be trapped in the false, evil cult of Mormonism. 😁 By the way, do you suppose the quakers on the moon, were hiding from the astronauts, when they landed? They never went and introduced themselves to the astronauts. Maybe they only spoke moon, and not English. 🤪 I wonder if Joe Smith ever told the quakers on the moon, that there were people living on earth? 😆

Your cult's problem is Where did the soul and spirit of Jesus originate. The Word of God tells you His Spirit was always with God AND WAS GOD IN THE VERY BEGINNING.

This is easy for mormons.

They believe "heavenly father" came down and had physical sex with Mary to impregnate her.

The mormon god has sex you know...

Joseph Smith ...

"Whenever did a tree or anything spring into existence without a progenitor?" Teachings of the Prophet JS Section 6 1843-1844:373:1

Brigham Young ...

"[God] created man, as we create our children; for there is no other process of creation in heaven, on the earth, in the earth, or under the earth, or in all the eternities, that is, that were, or that ever will be." Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses 11:122

The more you know about mormon beliefs, the weirder it gets...

teppe, do you believe the mormonic heavenly father had a physical, sexual relationship with Mary?

teppe, do you believe the mormonic heavenly father has celestial sex with heavenly mother to produce spirit children, including the mormonic jesus??

One mormonic apologist has you covered bro (listen to the rationalization!)

Steven Gibson, in a mormon rationalization book wrote...

"Another aspect of the matter needs to be considered. At the present time, man has no scientific or revealed knowledge of whether or not there are inhabitants on the earth's moon. The fact that a handful of astronauts didn't see any inhabitants in the tiny area they viewed when they landed on the moon decades ago certainly gives no definitive information, any more than visitors to earth who might land in barren Death Valley would have any idea of the billions of inhabitants elsewhere."

Gee whiz bro, it’s even worse than I thought. I wonder if all Mormons believe the rot gut story of quakers on the moon? I suspect not all of them are foolish enough, to believe that preposterous story. Then, the question is, if ole horn dog Joe Smith lied about the Quaker moon people, why should anyone trust ANYTHING the chump said? I certainly don’t accept anything Joe Smith said. 👎

I suspect most are very embarrassed by the statements of Joe Smith, Horndog Prophet.

Even above, you can see teppe rationalized it away.

But clearly, Joe said he could see them as a seer. He said they were on the moon. That they were all about 6 feet tall. That they dressed like Quakers.

And the next Horndog Prophet, Bring 'em Young, stated there are inhabitants on the sun!

It is the wackiest cult.

Not to be believed by anyone who wants to have eternal life with God.

You have no ability to defend your beliefs...
. only attack other’s belief in Christ.

Thank you for holding up the mirror...

Orson Pratt proclaimed:
"Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the 'whore of Babylon' whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent" (The Seer).

Brigham Young stated this repeatedly:
"When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian world was grovelling in darkness" (Journal of Discourses Section 5 page 73);
"The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God" (Journal of Discourses  Section  8 page 171);

"Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity" (Journal of Discourses Section 10  page 230).
"And who is there that acknowledges [God's] hand? ...You may wander east, west, north, and south, and you cannot find it in any church or government on the earth, except the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (Journal of Discourses Section  6 page 24);

Orson Pratt also said:
"This great apostasy commenced about the close of the first century of the Christian era, and it has been waxing worse and worse from then until now" (Journal of Discourses , Section 18, page 44);
"But as there has been no Christian Church on the earth for a great many centuries past, until the present century, the people have lost sight of the pattern that God has given according to which the Christian Church should be established, and they have denominated a great variety of people Christian Churches, because they profess to be ...But there has been a long apostasy, during which the nations have been cursed with apostate churches in great abundance" (Journal of Discourses , Section 18 page 172).

President John Taylor stated:
"Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." (Journal of Discourses , Section 6 page 167);
"Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom." (Journal of Discourses , Section 10 page 127).

James Talmage said:
"A self-suggesting interpretation of history indicates that there has been a great departure from the way of salvation as laid down by the Savior, a universal apostasy from the Church of Christ". (A Study of the Articles of Faith, p.182).

President Joseph Fielding Smith said:
"Doctrines were corrupted, authority lost, and a false order of religion took the place of the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as it had been the case in former dispensations, and the people were left in spiritual darkness." (Doctrines of Salvation, p.266).
"For hundreds of years the world was wrapped in a veil of spiritual darkness, until there was not one fundamental truth belonging to the place of salvation ...Joseph Smith declared that in the year 1820 the Lord revealed to him that all the 'Christian' churches were in error, teaching for commandments the doctrines of men" (Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 3, p.282).

More recent statements by apostle Bruce McConkie are also very clear:
"Apostasy was universal...And this darkness still prevails except among those who have come to a knowledge of the restored gospel" (Doctrines of Salvation, vol 3, p.265);
"a perverted Christianity holds sway among the so-called Christians of apostate Christendom" (Mormon Doctrine, p.123);
"virtually all the millions of apostate Christendom have abased themselves before the mythical throne of a mythical Christ whom they vainly suppose to be a spirit essence who is incorporeal uncreated, immaterial and three-in-one with the Father and Holy Spirit" (Mormon Doctrine, p.250);
"Gnosticism is one of the great pagan philosophies which antedated Christ and the Christian Era and which was later commingled with pure Christianity to form the apostate religion that has prevailed in the world since the early days of that era." (Mormon Doctrine, p.290).

President George Q. Cannon said:
"After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. They were known respectively as the Church of the Lamb of God and Babylon. The various organizations which are called churches throughout Christendom, though differing in their creeds and organizations, have one common origin. They all belong to Babylon" (Gospel Truth, p.324).  <-- can't find an onlink link, but there ARE a lot of hard copy books for sale tha tinclude this quote.

President Wilford Woodruff stated:
"the Gospel of modern Christendom shuts up the Lord, and stops all communication with Him. I want nothing to do with such a Gospel, I would rather prefer the Gospel of the dark ages, so called" (Journal of Discourses Section 2, page 196).
