“symptoms consistent with coronavirus” is NOT EQUAL to actually having and dying from the coronavirus. Just sayin’.

From another source. Just a coincidence I'm sure. He probably died of natural causes.

(his wife) Brandy told BuzzFeed News she tested positive for COVID-19 on March 19, two to three days before her husband began showing symptoms himself. On Friday night, he went to a hospital for treatment and was prescribed medication and briefly placed on oxygen. However, she said he was advised to return home in case being admitted to the hospital worsened his condition. He had no underlying health issues.

Maybe he did not have a co morbidity. Maybe he was totally healthy.

Healthy 30 year olds die with regularity.

It’s normally not newsworthy.

Scare tactics.

God help their loved ones.

This is too sad for words.

The virus has a kicker after several days which causes severe respiratory collapse. He should have been admitted for observation and treatment. The fact that he went to the ER suggests he was already not very well, especially because an athlete can tolerate a lot of suffering before seeking treatment. He was wise. The NJ medical system failed him.

Same for the father and son, aged 27, who died on the same day. Not newsworthy, right?

You need to find your soul.

Probably they’re sending people home too soon because they’re afraid of running out of beds.

And because there are so many with other ailments that think they’ve got COVID. I don’t have recent numbers, but last week it was less than 1 in 7 who presented with symptoms that actually tested positive.

In New Jersey, 40 percent of tests are positive.

This happens with the Flu sometimes too. Usually turns out there was something else going on

So your argument is that just because you think you’re healthy and safe doesn’t mean that you are? Sure. But it didn’t sound like that was where you were intending to head.

To insult the dead and their family, by insisting that the poor coach must have died because he had “underlying conditions” and was about to die anyway. This is the kind of stuff I expect from DU and the Pelosi gang, not FreeRepbulic.

I did read quite a bit from Chinese people in Wuhan and did watch some of their videos. From that knowledge, I saw cases like this coming, many of them. It’s one of the more shocking characteristics of the disease, where sufficiently restrictive measures aren’t taken. Where extreme measures are in place early enough, results are more like those seen in Beijing (very few problems for young people).

We’re learning something about the various personalities of people from the comments here, too, aren’t we.

Thanks for the update. In that area, the spread is shockingly fast - and it clearly isn’t just more tests being done or the high positive rate would have been existent for a while - though the way this works, the actual spread was 1-2 weeks ago.

I heard Ben Shapiro praising San Francisco and comparing it to NYC. Apparently both cities were at the same point a few weeks ago, but San Francisco locked down quickly and nipped it in the bud.

You really need to work hard on your reading comprehension before you start throwing around insults. Start by reading post #7, where the commenter (which is NOT me) implies that the coach had an underlying condition. I replied by posting a quote from the article (a quote which stated that the coach was healthy and athletic), and asked the commenter in #7 (again, NOT me) what about that statement made him (NOT me) think the coach had an underlying condition. Got it?

My apology if I misinterpreted you comment. But if you are trying to justify his death because of underlying conditions rather then the virus the criticism stands.
