Starting today, I’m starting to see more and more arguments that say, basically, “it doesn’t look like it’s going to be that bad. Thank God we made everyone panic or else you wouldn’t have done anything to prevent it and there would have been many more dead.”
You can’t win with these people. Good luck.

FReegards Dr!
I confess that I have thought this way. This germ scared me because of the virology. At first it looked as virulent as SARS 1 but as infectious as the common cold. But it has turned out that as a zoonotic virus it is not as deadly as it was feared. It is still too much bat virus and therefore we did not see the expected fatalities among the young. God has shown mercy.

I expect a second wave in the Fall. Shall we not lock down and social distance then too? I expect it to be worse then. Next year it will attenuate I hope, however the virus seems to have error correction and there are minimal mutations. It will continue to make people very sick but as time goes on people will gain lasting immunity and an effective vaccine will be in use.

Perhaps you saw something in the germ that I did not see. I delight in correction and only wish to know the truth. Thank you for any help.
