I read it days ago in the same way as Barr is describing it. It was not about powers for the DOJ, but about powers for chief judges - the judiciary - to juggle court schedules hit by delays and shortages stemming from the Corona virus crisis.
Yet some people around here still imagine in their fantasies that Barr is planning on using “military tribunals” to punish people that he can’t seem to get enough evidence against to indict in an actual court of law.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so idiotic.
