I like the Gomez quote (although it has also been attributed to Casey Stengel). But while I recognize that Trump is lucky, a more appropriate quote might be from Thomas Edison: Luck is the residue of hard work.

Not saying any doctors are fools, only that the government is powerful and could persuade/threaten the 90% of them (if for example the evil dems who would/will do Anything to get rid of Trump had the power) that would choose to save lives.
Also what if a double evil gov’t prohibition edict? such things are not unheard of.

For what it's worth, I heard Dr. Marc Siegel on Faux News say just yesterday that the latest studies of cononavirus show it to be very "stable".

.... does this guy remind anyone of Fred Flintstone?

It is is “stable” it’s not real good news, IMHO. You want it to mutate to a less aggressive form. That’s how it attenuates.

As I understand it is being done now, but there also is a great deal of it all over the world already.

Only sayin’ that the medical bureaucracy might be as intimidating (though not as evil) as the CIA/FBI/DOJ deep state we have recently witnessed. Could be as simple as a “lack of supplies’.

With regards to Trump being ‘lucky’ - one of Trump’s strengths is his experience as a businessman. He is a risk taker.

He has been accused of making definitive statements which - if you go to the exact source of his quotes, is more accurately described as ‘leading from ahead of the curve’. It’s like his desire to open up some markets by Easter.

The wailing and negative reaction to his Easter deadline is an example of news media run amuck. Our POTUS said he hoped to begin changing the policies on a return to normalcy by Easter, which has been called risky. Stating a hoped for goal is a good thing. It begins the transition back to a healthy way of life for American citizens, and is not an all or nothing approach, but a gradual beginning by that date.

Amen .....

And you believe the damned CHINESE?? Sorry....no!

There are equally large studies that show positive results with actual MEASUREMENT of a decrease in viral load among those receiving “H”, “H+Z” and no change with placebo. (H=hydroxychloroquine, Z=azithromycin). “H+Z” showed far larger and faster drop...to zero...in six days.

I’ll take that!

You are incorrect on this view. The way hydroxychloroquine works to stop the virus reproducing is not step a virus can 'mutate' to avoid.

Hydroxychloroquine acts as an 'ionophore' to ferry zinc through the cell wall into the cell, where the zinc destroys the RNA / DNA REPRODUCTION STAGE PEVENTING THE VIRUS FROM COMANDEERING THE CELL FOR REPRODUCTION. Viruses must use a living cell to make more virons. The zinc destroys the RNA transfer process.

Disinformation aimed at propping up a 1000 dollar per course of medicine as contrasting a 20 dollar course of medicine. Typical

You spittle forth, “So far, it has not been proven effective against coronavirus or COVID-19.” Tell that to the thousands who have been clear of this virus using hydroxychloroquine and Zpak.

You are really right about this. “Luck” just seems to follow some people, some sports teams (Think, the “Immaculate Reception” or “the Catch”-—both started dynasties that wouldn’t perhaps have happened otherwise. Other other hand, Dallas in SB 5 had one tipped pass go into a Colts’ receiver’s hands and had a fumble in the endzone the Cowboys recovered, but was awarded to the Colts).

So think about Reagan: He comes in with a big defense buildup and the Soviets had a window of opportunity with Carter’s drawdown. But 2 months after Reagan comes in, the Trident sub program, which was started back under NIXON, comes on line and is virtually invisible to sonar. The window shuts immediately. Or think of the hostages being released-—they had already planned to do release them, but they come home just in time for Reagan.

Not sure what you mean by stable, but could it mean that it does not mutate?

I read that in Iceland they have discovered 40 strains. of the Covid-19 virus

Also I didn't say it would become resistant. Not being a doctor I am thinking about antibiotics and bacteria becoming resistant to them. If that is not the case then good, but I am still wary of doing too much of a good thing, because anything done to access is usually counter-productive.
