The reporters were clearly unhappy about the outcome. They were expecting this to finally bring down Trump. They thought that Pelosi was going to march to the steps of the Forum, uh, the Capitol Building, and proclaim herself Emperor.

i believe that this is the version of the bill that trump indicated he would sign earlier this evening in the WH daily covid-19 briefing. i’m sure it contains a lot of pork but hopefully nothing fatal. trump indicated he would not sign it if it contained certain liberal-favored things (jfk center, national endowment for the arts funding, etc. excluded). so, once it gets to this stage, the remainder should be anticlimactic at least to some degree (except maybe for a few snarky reporters who are apparently having trouble keeping up with the news, haha).

When the federal government spends a billion dollars, it costs you $10. When it spends a trillion dollars, it costs you $10,000.

When the federal government spends two trillion dollars, it costs you $20,000.

Ask yourself, would you write that check tonight if given the choice?
