Donald Trump’s department of justice is seeking to drop charges against two Russian firms indicted by Robert Mueller, amid concerns they are seeking to exploit the process to obtain sensitive information, it has been reported.

The firms, Concord Management and Concord Consulting, were among 13 Russians and three entities charged by the special prosecutor in February 2018, claiming they tried to subvert the 2016 election and to support the Trump campaign.

“The indictment alleges that the Russian conspirators want to promote discord in the United States and undermine public confidence in democracy,” Rod Rosenstein, then deputy attorney general, told reporters. “We must not allow them to succeed.”

These were ridiculous indictments in the first place. They helped promote the .... Russia is interfering in our elections .... theme. They were never meant to be prosecuted.

I think this is just some undoing of the Mueller farce. Charges were probably as bogus as the Mueller investigation itself. Now if they could just clear Flynn and Stone. I think that will be coming though, even f by presidential pardon.

Do you notice the “propaganda” and the heavy democrat-coverup “spin” on this report?

“Trump administration cancels” instead of “corrupt democrat-led-FBI forced to drop fake Mueller indictments”

Mueller was stunned that these companies challenged his “decree”.

More likely the Russian corporation refused to pay extortion fees to the Democrat Party or its agents like Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, resulting in their prosecution.

President Trump is cleaning up the swamp, and the swamp is angry. GOOD!

“claiming they tried to subvert the 2016 election and to support the Trump campaign”

Does anyone really believe that..including the Russians? Even the Martians are scratching their disproportionately large heads over that one ?

The criminals in our intel agencies should at least be named and fired, so we are not paying for their cushy retirement after their sedition. The DOJ and Durham are dragging their feet and hoping for senile Biden to win and drop all the coup investigations.

“Mueller was stunned that these companies challenged his “decree”.”

Exactly! They tried to force a trial which would have proven that Mueller was a lying POS. These companies did nothing, they were the newspaper fodder that were named to help prop up the farce which was the Russian Hoax. No named Russian group was expected to come to the US to defend themselves. If this had gone to trial last year it would have blown the entire conspiracy out of the water.

I remember being pleased when Mueller charged those companies.

I thought...Good, now they will demand “discovery” and all the truth will come out.

Then Mueller refused to give them the docs.

One of the early fiascos that went nowhere.

First thing I noticed. All of a sudden, the FBI and the Justice Department are "the Trump administration."

2018 ARCHIVES Trump, conservatives demand probe into Clinton-Steele-Moscow links
The Washington Times ^ | Sunday, November 18, 2018 | Rowan Scarborough
FR Posted on 11/19/2018, 2:22:53 PM by E. Pluribus Unum

President Trump’s frustration last week over special counsel Robert Mueller not investigating the Democrats’ links to Russia election meddling is aimed at Christopher Steele, the British ex-spy who compiled and imported the unverified dossier.

“The only ‘Collusion’ is that of the Democrats with Russia and many others,” he tweeted Nov. 15. Mr. Steele is a paid Democratic Party operative who spread among Washington power elites pre-Election Day Trump gossip originating from Moscow.

Mr. Mueller has made a theme of enforcing the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA), which requires people working on behalf of foreigners to register with the Justice Department or face criminal liability. He also has charged Russian nationals with fraud against the U.S. by interfering in the 2016 election.

The Steele issue has reached Mr. Mueller. An attorney for one indicted Russian firm, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, accused Mr. Mueller of selective prosecution.

Why is Concord charged with election interference, but Mr. Steele is not? asked Washington attorney Eric Dubelier. Mr. Mueller responded by saying Mr. Steele’s actions are not on a par with elaborate Russian social media trolling and computer hacking. But his court argument didn’t explicitly say Mr. Steele is innocent of interference. U.S. District Judge Dabney L. Friedrich rejected the Concord argument. She upheld the Mueller indictment in a ruling last week, saying it is indeed a crime for foreigners — in this case troll farming Concord — to meddle in U.S. elections. Foreigners face restrictions on what roles they can play in U.S. elections.

Some conservatives disagree with Mr. Mueller brushing aside Mr. Steele’s actions. They make the case that Mr. Steele not only influenced the 2016 election but also infected the entire political system with unsubstantiated felony charges against Trump people that remain publicly unverified today. Right now would be a great time to do all charges against everyone.

And pardon everyone.

Barr isn’t dropping the charges the Mueller prosecutors are. They’ve been getting their arses kicked in court and they don’t want to give the defense disclosure which would further make fools of them.

And now you know why I would be hard pressed to Ever believe Anything the Government says in ANY Trial of ANY Kind, EVER!@!!

The very idea that they are shielding everything by calling it Classified should make everyone pause and question everything they have been told.

EVERYTHING with regards to this Indictment needs to be De-Classified, ALL Grand Jury Transcripts Publicly Released, Let us ALL SEE the LIES that Mueller and Company told to the Grand Jury so AMerica knows the FRAUD HE COMMITTED ON THE COURTS and the American People.
