A California federal prosecutor used a gun to kill himself and a woman he married four months ago, according to reports.
The parents of 45-year-old Tamara Delgado asked deputies to conduct a welfare check Sunday, CBS 13 Sacramento reported.
She was found dead along with her husband, Timothy Delgado, 43.
“We believe that Mr. Delgado fatally shot his wife before turning the gun on himself,” the Placer County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
The Delgados lived in Granite Bay, 25 miles north of Sacramento. Her Facebook page says they married in November.
Delgado was a prosecutor in the Sacramento U.S. Attorney’s Office, working gun and drug cases.
He was also a California state prosecutor and a lawyer in the Navy, according to records.

When a guy kills his wife, there is usually some element of the marriage failing, the wife cheating, or some mental instability on his part.
Found dead on Sunday.
Declared a suicide on Monday.
That was a quick investigation.
No, run if you have to.
This sort of thing is so pointless.
So you think she did you wrong.
Well she didn't kill you. No you're going to do that.
Folks, buy a clue.
No woman is worth this. No man is worth this.
So you made a mistake, or the other person defrauded you.
Life goes on, unless you decide to kill yourself and take
the other party with you. Now there's a real solution to a problem

Looks like a hit to me. Courtesy of the drug cartels. Made to look like a murder/suicide. He prosecuted drugs and guns. This was all covered up and solved quite rapidly.
This is probably as it seems, but it could also be a set-up done as ‘payback’ for someone he prosecuted. Could even be politically motivated.
