What *coincidental* timing with the markets melting down.

Well, a spike in BP can certainly be associated with an Aortic dissection.

From his Wiki page:
Dimon donates primarily to the Democratic Party. In May 2012, he described himself as “barely a Democrat”stating,
I’ve gotten disturbed at some of the Democrats’ anti-business behavior, the attacks on work ethic and successful people. I think it’s very counterproductive. ... It doesn’t mean I don’t have their values. I want jobs. I want a more equitable society. I don’t mind paying higher taxes. ... I do think we’re our brother’s keeper but I think that attacking that which creates all things, is not the right way to go about it.

"Well, a spike in BP can certainly be associated with an Aortic dissection." Been there, done that in 2013. 16 hour surgery after mine ruptured so I wish the gentleman well.

I’m 73. A chest X-RAY last summer showed a calcified aorta, so I started taking vitamin K2 and D3.
I had the CAC scan last week. The widowmaker artery has 6% calcium, the other three are 0%.
I gave them the CD of my X-RAY, and asked if they could correlate that with the CAC scan, to see if it had improved, but it was not in the report.

I was blessed. I was in my primary care physicians office when the dissection occurred and the rupture occurred on the operating table. Only prayer and the surgeon's refusal to surrender saved me. The recovery has been rough, especially on my mental acuity. Let's say my brain's clutch slips on occassion.
As to calcium, it was contributor to the aneurysm. Follow-up found defective parathyroids. Removal of course did not reverse my calcifications, but did reduce my incidence of kidney stones.
Prayers for Mr. Dimon.

I have an aortic root aneurysm so have this to look forward to. Not at the point for elective surgery to correct it, but getting there. I don’t smoke. Eat healthy. Do all the “right” things... and yet I still have this at 50 (was diagnosed at 46)

I had aneurysms with blood-clots on my abdominal aorta.
They replaced the “upside down Y” in my belly with a plastic one.
In and out in 4 days.
