According to “Religion in Russia” in Wikipedia, just 6.5% of the country is Muslim.

Russia s would have no problem rounding up muslim Russians, arming the. with one shot rifles, and marching them toward the Turkish army prodded along by kill squads with machine guns. They did this during Stalingrad in WW II.
