Trump urges South Carolina Republicans to vote for Bernie Sanders

President Trump is urging Republicans to vote in South Carolina’s Democratic primary on Saturday for the weakest candidate — determining that is Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Trump, hosting a rally in South Carolina on Friday night, asked his crowd to help him pick the recipient of GOP votes in the “open” primary.

“I assume this is okay from a campaign finance standpoint,” Trump joked before carrying out his “poll” on the eve of the primary election.

He asked audience members to cheer for the Democrat they’d prefer be his easiest-to-beat opponent — Sanders or former Vice President Joe Biden.

“I think maybe Crazy Bernie has it,” Trump said.

Asking one more time for his supporters to cheer for either former vice president Biden or Sanders, Trump confirmed: “They think Bernie’s easier to beat.”

I have been begging for folks to do this for days and the President is now calling for it. We don’t need to worry about our side since President Trump and pretty much all the right down ballot republicans will be voted for by the many republicans who either won’t get the message from the president or are just too afraid to vote in the dem primary. Anyway, getting President Trump is the most important thing and getting Bernie the nomination by primary votes is the most certain way we can help. A primary win by Bernie means a big win for all republicans in the general election.

I’ll be a contrarian with you.

With dems committing fraud, illegals & dead people being able to vote as many times as they want, dems trying to steal votes/elections, having Bernie be the other choice is too close for comfort for me. He just may end up winning if any fraud happens, and then we wouldn’t be laughing anymore. We almost had Hillary.

I don’t want Bernie ANYWHERE near being the other choice/candidate for any idiot to vote for.

Is Bernie Sanders really an easier opponent for Trump than Joe Biden in the general election though? I don't think we should underestimate any of the democrat candidates. It's easy to do that when you see how crazy they have gotten, but we have to remember they still have supporters as hard as it to believe. They are going to attempt massive election fraud as well. Bernie Sanders has some supporters who won't vote if he's not the nominee, and while Biden might have more moderate supporter right now, he seems to be deteriorating mentally.

I will be the most contrarian. Sanders would be less damaging than Obama was. Nobody can get along with the angry old fool. In all the years in the Senate he got almost nothing done.

Obama's election and worse yet, his reelection, is proof of the real issue that must be dealt with. Too many Americans lured over into socialism. A face to face battle of socialism verses capitalism is necessary to save America and what better time to do it than with such an awesome champion on our side?

I want Bernie to win but have it stolen from him. So I want him to have the most delegates but not have such a big lead that the rats are afraid to steal it from him.
I think it would be best if his lead is by less than 10 percentage points.

He is way too addled to last on the long campaign trail. Plus the p-oed Bernettes will stay home in disgust.
