Bloomberg hits Trump in campaign ad on coronavirus

White House hopeful Mike Bloomberg released a new campaign ad on Wednesday hitting President Trump over his administration’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

The 30-second clip splices together media coverage of the spread of the coronavirus and its related effects on the stock market. The ad argues that Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, effectively dealt with crises during his oversight of America’s biggest city and would be better able to grapple with the outbreak.

“Managing a crisis is what Mike Bloomberg does,” says a male narrator. “In the aftermath of 9/11, he steadied and rebuilt America’s largest city, oversaw emergency response to natural disasters, upgraded hospital preparedness to manage health crises, and he’s funding cutting edge research to contain epidemics.”

The ad comes amid an avalanche of scrutiny over the government’s handling of the outbreak, which has spread to several continents as it continues to ravage across China.

The fears over the virus’s spread spiked this week when health officials warned an outbreak within the U.S. is likely, if not inevitable.

So predictable. No matter what Trump does to address the issue, the opposition will say it’s not enough.

Which a hole news source reported he misspelled the virus in his tweet. They should be nabbed from the briefing as they are obviously hostile to him and this is a serious matter.

It’s official: President Trump personally stole the virus from the Chinese military lab, force-fed it to bats, and sold them to unsuspecting people in the live animal market in Wuhan. He also pulls wings off butterflies, and tells little children there is no Santa Claus.

And a GREAT ONE!!

My inner greta...HOW DARE HE?!!!

In this case it’s earned.

bloomberg was NEVER the mayor Rudy was.

A great mayor, a loyal and steadfast friend to our POTUS, not a conservative but an American Patriot who loves his country.

bloomberg is a narcissistic fool.

Well to be fair the santa claus part is true.

I still haven’t forgiven him for Christmas 2013, when the TR#####s and the Trumps spent the holiday together.

There you go, letting facts get in the way of a good commercial.

It's nonesense. But people tend to get overly alarmed about health crises issues.

President Trump does need to have a good political strategy regarding coronavirus.

Maybe we should stop letting people from other countries sneak in without knowing what they’ve got.

Same here. How is he trying to take credit for what Rudy did?

Bloomberg should have waited until the President’s press conference on the subject.

He would then at least know what the President plans on doing (so he can either oppose it for being too much or too little).
