So....they know they’re dinosaurs and are in danger of dying.

I have a radical proposal to the corporations who own the major networks. Why not compete for eyeballs on the right side of the political spectrum. You’ve got CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, PBS all scratching and clawing for Leftists to watch them. On the Right side there is only Fox....and even their news coverage is not very Right leaning. More Americans self identify as Conservatives than as Liberals.

So.......go for the bigger market that has almost no competition.

- Take your entire news staff. Fire every single last one of them including the editors, producers, everybody. Fire them all.

- hire people from a Right of center perspective. Go for state school grads - avoid Ivy Leaguers and California grads like the plague. Its important that the people making the broadcast intended to appeal to regular Americans actually BE regular Americans.

- Get out of NY. No, that does not mean you can go to Miami, or Boston or the Left Coast or Chicago. Place the news headquarters in and broadcast from America. Yes, Yes, I know its hard but there is just about an entire continent to choose from. Go to Kansas City or Cody, Wyoming or Mobile, Alabama...just some place that is in America rather than the little bicoastal bubble. An added benefit of broadcasting from America is the kind of people you are currently staffed with won’t want to go there so it will help to keep those people out of the Network.

I’m willing to bet you that you will see a dramatic improvement in ratings. After all, you’ll have no problem getting interviews with Republican politicians, getting access the other networks will be green with envy about.

Then gasp! maybe think about doing something similar with your entertainment shows. Late night or morning talk shows, even the comedies and dramas and other programs you make. The principle is the same - there is a huge and practically unserved market. You will make money serving that market.

can't happen, it's against their culture, all their employees are activist Leftists who refuse to do anything but push their politics.

60% Lie about being fair and balanced. I respect the 10%-30% that are up front a clear and not whatever side for pay. If you have not chosen a side of the road in this environment your going to get your corpse ran over by twice the amount of traffic. It is playing in traffic, you will get hurt.

It is the fools who claim no bias that are much more untrustworthy sources. Both sides we know the position papers very well and do get much more of our truthy off of raw video, IG reports and freedom of information requests than ever before. Is it the truth, that is a red or blue pill question?
