On Thursday, however, the conservative Club for Growth released a poll that showed former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville surging into first place, getting the nod from 32% of those polled to top Mr. Sessions’ 29%. The Club for Growth has campaigned aggressively against contender Rep. Bradley Byrne.

Sessions will lose, just like Moore before him. Put bad candidates up, they cannot win. Sessions should have remained retired after Trump fired him.

The guy is pathetic showing up on TV like nothing happened. We all know that at best he was stupid and duped. He should have left it like that so we could pretend.

I won’t go and suggest that ‘Tubby’ is a gold-star winner, but Sessions is proven himself to be sleepy-idiot without much support for the President. Sessions should quietly retire and tend to a garden.

I won’t vote for Tuberville based on his immigration stance. Voting for Sessions. I still believe in him based on something I learned many years ago about him on a trip to D.C. and a visit to his office.

Sessions will not be able to let go of his image, the recusal man, avoiding President Donald Trump.

Sessions should have recused himself before he accepted the job of AG and remained in the Senate. He knew he couldn’t touch the biggest cases at the Justice Department.

The ongoing unaddressed problems and derelictions of the Department of Justice and the FBI make all too clear that Sessions, although a fine man and good conservative, was a failure as AG. He believed too much in the DOJ as an institution and in traditional gentlemanly rules of politics. Plainly inadequate for the demands of political combat today, it is hard to see where Sessions has a persuasive case for being returned to the US Senate.

What a shame. Maybe Sessions wasn’t a good AG, but he WAS a good senator and that’s what he’s running for.

Tuberville is pro-amnesty. I’ll vote for Byrne or Sessions before him.

With a great do nothing legacy with trump and his hands off recusal with the Mueller probe I cant see why he would fail miserably and rightly so deserve

Okay, Alabama, who are the idiots voting for Sessions? Believers in the magic letter—or those somehow truly out of the loop?

Whoever gets it is going to be better than Jones, so Republicans had better rally around him. The way they treated Moore was sickening, and Trump’s too-little-too-late support didn’t help.

The Club for Growth has campaigned aggressively against contender Rep. Bradley Byrne.

Idiots. Brad is the most conservative and a proven Trump Supporter.

My vote goes to Byrne.

Byrne once called Trump unfit for office, Tuberville is for unfettered immigration. I’m sticking with Sessions who has a proven record as a Senator.
