I haven’t been back there in years, but I’d bet they’re all enthusiastic Trump supporters. Chabad itself doesn’t do endorsements. But I remember the ‘97 Mayoral elections, when everyone in Crown Heights was gleefully voting Giuliani. Myself, in 2003, I canvassed for Badillo for Republican candidate, and was sadly disappointed when Rudy endorsed Bloomberg. Never cared for him. Gun control, fumo-nazi (anti-smoking nazi) control freak. He kept the crime rate down, anyway.

If Bloomberg manages to get the nomination through a brokered convention will the people on the stage who ripped him a new one suddenly campaign for him? Can you see Bernie doing a commercial with him?
If Bernie Sanders actually gets the nomination will Bloomberg still waste hundreds of millions on a lost cause to elect him? Is he really that stupid?

For whom? For us, it has great potential. Bernie Sanders, tied around the donkey’s neck with dollar bills, the donkey unable to shake it. Mini Mike the billionaire tied around Bernie Sanders’ neck, Sanders looking sourer than that old man on the Bennie Hill Show, weeping as he forces words of endorsement out of his gullet. Win/win.
