Here is my thought on this. If barr leaves, and I hope he does, it will be old news in a week or two. This will have no effect on the election of POTUS. But it will in the senate if Trump does not get his nominee in place quickly. This is an election year with a popular POTUS. If the gopE congress continues to obstruct Trump, that would cause more down ticket gopE senators problems with thier base. mcconnell knows this. That is the reason Trump was acquitted by 52 gopE senators, otherwise there would have been many more defections. Trump has power, now is the time to use it.

If I were Barr, I wouldn’t be happy about some of his tweets either. I would privately and respectfully speak to Trump about my concerns. But as one of my CO’s once said:
“When you and your boss have a personality conflict, he has a personality, and you have a conflict...”
As an American I am not too happy with the DOJ being used by the Deep State to coup Trump and Barr has done some good but I think he is trying to protect the Deep State institutions (of which elements of the DOJ are part of) while (I assume) routing out the rogue elements - he is former CIA after all.
All of this fake news reporting that Barr is thinking about quitting is based on a fake news WAPO story. The same reporter, Matt Zap, lied that the altered Carter Page FISA evidence (CIA/Clinesmith) didn’t affect the validity of the FISA application. - Techno

Hey MSM morons. This proves that this whole deal was a non story. Journos won’t go after real news like the most important story of the year in Wuhan, China. Very little info leaks out of there but millions of people have. Real journalists would risk everything and break the quarantine to get the real story out or at least talk to all of the survivors who did get out that they could. But that would involve some risk, an idea beyond modern reporters. They’re scared of how communicable the disease really is.
So where did the DOJ address Barr’s spouting about Trump’s tweets? The sentence Trump was tweeted about and the manner in which this man was arrested by a SWAT team with guns drawn and a CNN news crew sitting outside was an outrage. Trump was right to be tweeting. Barr can start hitting some homeruns for a change or he can take stick it.
