Boy Scouts bankruptcy filing expected within hours, victims’ lawyers say
The Boy Scouts of America, after decades of being crippled by child sex abuse claims, plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy by early Tuesday, the Daily News has learned.

In the meantime, there’s a book called The Dangerous Book for Boys. It’s been out for a decade or more. I got it for my 8 year old grand nephew last Christmas and he loves it I’m told. I think there might be a second addition, too. It could have been published in the 50’s. It’s wholesome and genuinely interesting to pre-adolescents, without the taint of political correctness on any of its pages.
Amen. My son and I were talking about how they would discuss this. This issue is the biggest issue and few are talking about it.
The Boy Scouts brought it on themselves.
I strongly agree. My experience when my boys were young was that the overwhelming majority of adult leadership were power hungry misfits and dolts.
and of course, you did not volunteer and chose to bitch and moan rather than participate as a leader

But you’re telling on yourself.
I was an Eagle Scout early on (in the 1940’s), later a Scoutmaster, later instrumental in getting my church to sponsor a Cub Pack and Boy Scout Troop. There was no finer program to teach boys about responsibility, satisfying requirements for promotion, leadership, etc. The program for decades trained young men to become a man and take on the role of citizen. Eagle Scout on my resume’s was a great enhancer.
Then in the sixties the lefties began their program to infiltrate and revolutionize society. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts became their targets, as well as schools,
universities, mainline churches, and government. The lefties have been successful because the rest of us refused to open our eyes to the threat on our society, our nation.
Call me conspiracy theorist if you wish, but the social revolution beginning in the 60’s was a goal of the Communist International movement, IMO.
