Conservative radio host and recent recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom Rush Limbaugh found himself in hot water Thursday over remarks he made about former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign. In a nutshell, the fiery right wing superstar opined on how Democrats view the impact of Mayor Pete’s homosexuality in a potential debate against Donald Trump, who Limbaugh views as an alpha male.
Here are the remarks in question:
Then they’re sitting there and they’re looking at Mayor Pete, a 37-year-old gay guy, mayor of South Bend, loves to kiss his husband on the debate stage, and they’re saying, ‘Okay. How’s that going to look, a 37-year-old gay guy kissing his husband on stage next to Mr. Man, Donald Trump? What’s gonna happen there....

The DNC does not want Sanders and it does not want Buttigieg. Where doe that leave them?!
I’m taking joy in all the negative attention I’m receiving for telling leftists Americans don’t want to see men making out.
That gives homosexuals great power over MOST of the general population.
In general, women might. “Real” men might have a certain belief, but mostly women rule the elections.
Ugh.
Why accept the leftist premise that “homophobic” is even a legitimate term? That cedes the moral high-ground to them. It’s a great derail tactic for liberals. Nobody has a phobia about homos; Rush Limbaugh certainly doesn’t.
I doubt very much that Mr. Limbaugh is experiencing any discomfort from the supposed hot water.
Pete and his HUSBAND Need to be more Exposed.

DNC will ultimately choose their own candidate so long as Butt?*4@g and Sanders are within a few delegates of each other and a couple of others stay in to the end. Without an actual majority delegate count the DNC gets to make the choice regardless of the wishes of primary voters. Butt’s and the Commie’s necessity now is to get rid of the stragglers ASAP.
Doesn’t matter that Rush said. The sentence is too long for democrat voters to understand, and so they believe what they are told about it being homophobic.
Truth doesn’t matter. The left will go around saying that Rush said “homophobic” things about mayor Pete, because that’s what they want to believe.

It has become a dogma of the left that Rush said racist things about McNabb, when he did not.
“There’s no such thing as homophobic. It was a made up word to take away your Right to Free Speech, Right to practice your religion and to make you liable for lawsuits. No More!!”
YES! AMEN! It magically puts the conservative on defense, and it derails the entire debate, sometimes before it ever even starts. It’s simple name-calling. The Left has a whole arsenal of these tactics. The Right has “socialist” and that’s about it.
They fell right into Rush’s trap. Now demonicRATS have no choice but to circle the clown cars around Buttigieg and Rush will have been proven right once again. demonicRATS will have no choice but to show their true colors.
I’ve begun telling people that there’s a difference between phobia and revulsion. Sets them down.

I don’t think Rush minds the name-calling. I think it’s kind of a Trump tactic - which is to use the ‘outrage’ of the Left against them.
Rush figures he’s invincible (which he is), given his medical condition, so when the Left floods his sponsors, the sponsors, for once will tell the Left to go to hell, so he’s safe there (and it’s not like he said what he thinks of their ‘lifestyle’, as he used to in the very early days of his show - he did some colorful comments back then).
BUT - he’s also, likely correctly, thinking that Mayor Pete will put his ‘partner’ in the closet, once the Democrat Primaries are over (with the help of the media, of course) - this could be Rush’s way of outing Mayor Pete, even though that’s all we identify him as...Remember, most of the country has yet to even hear of him.
The word homophobic makes no sense. Phobia mean fear. No one fears homosexuals. Many don’t accept it. Need a new word.
