An interesting viewpoint. I do not completely agree with it, but I think you may be onto something. Perhaps Trump should point out that these people need not like him, need not vote for him or his party - but if they don’t like what the Democrats did to them, they should stop voting for Democrats and vote for someone, anyone else.
Remember, we don’t have to get them to vote Republican to win an election. It’s nice if we do, but it’s not needed. We only need to keep our voters in a cohesive group and have their voters vote for some other party or stay home.

I like that thought...maybe they WONT go all-in but if they're disgruntled/disillusioned in 2020, that works. Better yet, if they stay home and chew on it, and THEN move to our side, the effect is pretty much the same.
I'm not Pollyanna. Some men, you can't reach, and never will. But if the Dems say "don't let a crisis go to waste," why can't we, i.e. Use this crisis to awaken folks...not further enslave them a-la Rahm?
