I hope Rush is on the air for a long time to come. The left fantasize that his death would mean the end to conservative talk radio. In reality, there are many capable hosts that will fill the void.
Ditto. I was on the Sawgrass and if I wasn’t late, I would have pulled over when the signal started to fade. It was that a profound difference from anything I’d heard before.

Roger that. Rush has inspired an army of others to follow his footsteps, and some of them are quite good. When Tiger Woods first came on the golf scene, and started winning evrything, it looked disasterous for other golfers. Tiger’s stupid subsequent antics with women not withstanding; he DID inspire the whole golf world to up their game, and golf overall was improved.JMHO.

I did not know I was a Conservative until I heard him, “This guy says what I think” once I found him whatever Radio Station that is carrying his show is the Station I have on (and that is since the Clarence Thomas Hearings)
To this day no matter the Line-up, if Rush is on that Station, that is the Station my Radio is dialed into.

I had the same experience.
Many years ago , in work in Boston a fellow worker asked me I listened to Rush Limbaugh, I said no, never heard of anybody named RUSH.
One day I heard Rush and had the same reaction you did.
The liberals immediately dismissed RUSH as an ENTERTAINER. -tom
Yes, I heard that. Very touching. I’ve listened almost from the beginning. He always says it takes a while to “get” him, but I swear I did from day one.
God grant him 30 more years in strength and comfort, but meanwhile, may he build a team (like Breitbart) that cannot be stopped.
Rush said that he is getting many offers like that.
I listen at work over blue tooth in my hearing aids.

Day One for me as well, I had never heard anyone articulate what I thought or was thinking ... and I really didn’t pay attention to News because I pretty much knew they were Lying.
