That guy the turtle seems like the last person I would ever imagine in 1 million years that whatever snort a line of cocaine

Sometimes, a politician has only one gift but its an exceptional one.
Bill Clinton had a gift for understanding voters and how to Triangulate their support.
Reagan had a gift of explaining concepts to the average voter.
I suspect it might have been Mitch’s idea to try and change the Court system from inside.
The votes aren’t there too override a legislative filibuster.
Senate might as well work on filling the federal judiciary.
Observing the headline, “Cocaine Mitch...” Where does that tagline come from” I have never known Mitch to be associated with any drugs, nor as a heavy drinker. From all I have ever heard, he is a straight shooter.
His father in law owned a cargo ship in which a whole bunch of cocaine was seized on it. A Republican political opponent nicknamed him “Cocaine Mitch” and it stuck. It’s not a pejorative. I think his campaign actually sold Cocaine Mitch t-shirts for awhile...lol.
Or I should say, it has nothing to do with Mitch taking drugs.

I wouldn’t have given you a nickel for Mitch a couple of years ago. But he has certainly redeemed himself these last couple of years, with almost 200 judges installed.
Probably just an ironic nickname, like when you call the biggest guy on the football team “Tiny”.

Count me among those who aren’t so enamored with Mitch. The impeachment articles should have been immediately dismissed. There should NEVER have been a trial. Precedent has now been set that the HOR can impeach POTUS for any perceived infraction, and the Senate will oblige by holding a ‘trial’. This was a huge mistake, and not at all what the Founders intended. I believe Mitch screwed up by not immediately shutting down the farce.
Yes. I think someone with such glaring far leftist views should never ever should have been put on the court. But she was recommended by a R senator (Hatch) and confirmed with tons of R votes (96 to 3).
Go after the Dems....not Mitch.
Mitch does not own the Senate and it wasn't his call.
I thought it should be taken out of the headline because people don't know the story.
