Devin Nunes in Wolverine Mode: This is Only The Beginning of Sunlight on The Mueller Team…

Devin Nunes appears with Lou Dobbs and breaks the news on national media the nomination of former DC Attorney Jessie Liu was withdrawn. Mr. Nunes went on to discuss the issues around the DOJ and Deep State resistance effort and then contrasts the sentencing recommendation for Roger Stone against the 30-day sentence for SSCI Security Director James Wolfe.

Additionally, Representative Nunes notes this is only the beginning of sunlight upon the dirty lawyers who organized within the Mueller probe…. and there will be much more to come.

“Both attorneys were involved in providing the initial sentencing guidance, which was sharply criticized by President Trump, raising questions about potential political interference in the sentencing of Stone.”

Gonna be Article 1 of the next impeachment fiasco....

Your scalps chart should be updated to reflect the fact that FOUR prosecutors on Mewler’s team have resigned.

At least one of them has resigned as an attorney for DC altogether, by the footnote on the filing with the court, where he withdraws from the case.

A reasonable guess is the others have as well, but I have not verified such.

I gave some money to Stone’s legal defense and I am glad I did.

I think the most important question is what is the typical sentence for a “ process crime”? As a non-attorney type 7 years seems to be a lot. Hell, there are people that commit violent crimes that get less than that....

The 7-9 year recommendation was exactly what the Federal Sentencing Guidelines call for. What bumped it up was his threat to harm a witness; without that, the Guidelines would have been 4 years.

9 years for McCabe, probation for Stone.
