He won’t have to do anything. Many peeved-off Californian Sanders voters will stay home after Bolshevik Bernie gets screwed once again by the DNC.

They call it “significant escalation”, but just looks like a bunch of paper being filed.

e.g., still looks like illegals getting DMV licenses in NY. What’s changed?

Trump's popular vote was not quite that much. The 2016 presidentional election results were as follows:
Trump: 62,985,134 (306 Electoral Collage votes)
Clinton:65,853,652 (232 Electoral Collage votes)

A difference of 2,868,518. This difference is easily attributable to the national reported widespread voter fraud. Large voter fraud in California, New York, Illinois and Massachusetts.

Trump can do that in the only way possible. He will have to spend time in the state and provide money for advertising.

He will need to do it if he wants to win the nationwide popular vote.

Cali is usually ignored by both parties during the general election since it doesn't really make sense to spend time and money in a state the candidates know they will easily win/lose.

Trump did not have the money nor the luxury of time to challenge in a state he knew he would lose regardless of effort. But Trump is uniquely hated in Cali and lost by 4.5 million votes.

Trump really really needs to win the popular vote in 2020 to give a likely Electoral College victory legitimacy.

That will also help in recapturing the 7 California House seats lost in the midterms, too.

However, Bloomberg has said he is going to spend $2 billion on the election and his money has been incredibly effective in many races. Plus, the remaining Koch brother is going to sit out this election, while they spent $100 million in 2016.

So it should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yes, you are correct with the popular vote. You can call it fraud all you want, but the history books will record it as an electoral college victory with no asterisk.

When people talk about the 1960 presidential election, I never hear anyone say that it was stolen by the dems because Nixon actually won in Illinois that day. Most people just think it's sour grapes to blame fraudulent voting since no one is ever prosecuted and the media hardly ever covers voter fraud.

The only fraud story that was widely reported, at least from my perspective, was a lady in Iowa who twice voted for Trump. That was front page news in the Washington Post. Unbelievable.

Then there is the situation in Detroit in which the poll workers fed the ballots through the counting machine three times! So, no one really knows the true vote margin in Michigan.

Before long, Democrats are going to regret ‘poking a stick at the hornet’s nest’.

Short of arresting mayors, governors, cutting of tax payer aid, etc, nothing will happen.

From the lede: “Charging that so-called “sanctuary” cities”

“So-called” plus scare quotes around the word “sanctuary”? So, I guess the author/editor wanted to lend the policy announcement extra credibility. /sarc

We will consider taking action against any jurisdiction that, or any politician who, unlawfully obstructs the federal enforcement of immigration law.

This is from his address at the sheriffs association.

Read it slowly and let your lips move...................

note the word politician.

I was thinking, just this morning, about how far this could go.

I am wondering if the Trump/Barr team could be bold enough to have US Marshals show up and arrest the mayor of a major US city...as a show of force and commitment to US security.

It would take a lot of calculation to make such a move- but it would be a real game changer....

"....There was a story some time back about a mayor of a city just north of the border who was taking money from cartels so illegals wouldn’t be stopped. And of course, drugs could flow easily through that town. I’m sure there is a lot of that going on......"

Clinton was doing this when he was Guv of Arkansas...the Barry Seal story is well documented and mostly true.

Justifiably, many on this thread express skepticism, as for example, eagleone: “Short of arresting mayors, governors, cutting off tax payer aid, etc, nothing will happen.”

As a form of encouragement and a call for patience, I suggest that we remember the liberal/left tactic of “incrementalism”. They understood quite some time ago that an all-out revolution would not succeed; there would be too much opposition to such an approach, whether done politically or at the point of a gun. So, following their thought leaders like Gramsci, they began the “long march through the institutions.” They would gradually destroy from within, incrimentally pushing the line of cultural and political acceptance forward until we have sanctuary cities in open defiance of the Federal Government, promotion of transgenderism in schools and libraries, university speech codes and open coup attempts on the president, even in the hallowed halls of the FBI and Main Justice.

This process cannot be unwound in a day or a month or even a year. It needs to be reversed the same way it came: incrementally. I think President Trump stopped the forward movement to the left and has started to shift the direction completely: He smashed Political Correctness, brought the fraudulent media to utter disrepute, he is hitting the regulatory state with body blow after body blow, promoting American exceptionalism and military, economic, diplomatic and technological dominance. But notice that he didn’t attempt to do everything at once: he has been pushing day by day, week by week, month by month, with amazing patience and persistence. Momentum is building but the whole de-revolution back to American greatness will not happen overnight.

I totally believe in placing financial and political pressure on the nut-job cities, but in all honesty a bunch of elected democrats need to go to jail for this.

Not only do santuary state policies threaten security, they also comprise the underpinnings of de facto secession and civil war.Its also mirrored in Israel’s crisis.

As a supporter if Zionism, I see the same leftist undermining of Israel is also happening to Bibi Nethanyahu concerning Palestine and a meaningful peace process supported by force majeur.

Down with ALL Bolshevik Jews? Surely people can see the difference between The Kushners and those Bolshviks like Sanders, Nadler, Schiff ,Soros, Sondland and Goldstein?

Yet no one dares speak of it openly for fear of being called racist.

Its interesting , observing the traditional difference between leftist Bolsheviks and Observant Zionists. I very much love the latter, very much in the manner of President Trump.

Wholeheartedly agree, and this is why (to the dismay of some conservative folks) we must be patient and trust the President and his close non- deep state confidants to continue reversing 155+ years of Democrat nonsense

As an Orthodox Jew, I have to lamentably agree with your identification of the Bolshevik wing of the Jewish people. I try to take comfort in the fact that, and hope that many non-Jewish people are aware that, Bolshevik Jews are really only Bolsheviks. They essentially have abandoned the Jewish religion for the new religion of liberalism/progressivism/bolshevism.

I can assure you that theologically, true Torah based Judaism is the farthest thing there is from Bolshevism, which is why so many of my fellow Orthodox Jews are rock-solid conservatives.
