What a ridiculous complaint. It’s seems like they are suggesting that some viewers will be so stupid that they will believe that Nancy Pelosi literally tore up the speech multiple times during the SOTU.
OTOH, during the 2000 Presidential election, the Democrat party argued that their voters were uniquely too stupid to properly vote using paper ballots that Democrats had designed. They continued this argument after multiple studies showed that elementary school children were able to do so unerringly.
