Courageous Chinese Dr. Li Wenliang: Dead from coronavirus or communism?
American Thinker ^ | 02/07/2020 | By Ronald C. Tinnell

Posted on 02/07/2020 8:01:01 AM PST by SeekAndFind

Dr. Li Wenliang, the ophthalmologist who first raised the alarm about the coronavirus in China, has passed away. When he tried to warn colleagues about the disease, he was arrested by the authorities for "rumor-mongering." "We solemnly warn you: If you keep being stubborn, with such impertinence, and continue this illegal activity, you will be brought to justice — is that understood?"

It is reported that he caught the disease from a patient or patients he was treating and died some days later. Do you believe this? Only about 2% of the people who contract this virus die from it. Like the flu and other coronaviruses, most of the people who die from this virus are very old, very young, or weakened by some other medical problem. Li Wenliang was 34 years old. If he had some other underlying health problem, it has not been reported.

His death is suspiciously convenient for certain Chinese authorities. Had he lived, he would have been available to relate how he was silenced and prevented from raising the alarm during the early stages of the outbreak, when it would have been much easier to control. In a totalitarian country like China, there will be no public investigation into his death. If there is any investigation, it will be upper-level officials investigating the actions of lower-level officials, and the results will not be made public.

Unless the current communist regime in China falls, we will probably never know for sure, but I'm betting he died not of coronavirus, but of communism. If I am right about this, he joins countless millions who have died of this malady in the past, and many more will, no doubt, follow in his path till the Chinese people find their way to a better form of government.

Pull the coverup over his head.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

Under communism everyone is equal in that they mean nothing to the tyrants.

he didnt look like he was about to die when they did that proof of life photo.

I dont think they killed him.

I think he croaked from it. It would serve them better from PR standpoint if he lived

But then again..they are perfectly capable of ruthlessly killing him.

The Wuhan Hospital that cared for him on the other hand, initially DENIED that He was dead on social media.

They finally had to confirm it.

He is a true hero to me. And typies that problem with Commie China.

I don’t know how China could go about overthrowing their regime..but this virus outbreak might be a tipping point.

CIA should get in there and do what they do in other countries.

What happens after the overthrow? Still a billion to feed and the military wags the dog in Taiwan. Cuba would be better.

So your answer is COmmie China must continue as it has been

Perhaps that is correct.

I have no idea. Way above my expertise. At this point it seems likely to me older generations have been brainwashed. Perhaps not so much younger crowd with access to the internet.

And we have the younger generation here swooning over the communist Sanders and his brand of “socialism.” The younger Chinese fight for freedom. Our young people are fighting for their right to be enslaved. Go figure.

till the Chinese people find their way to a better form of government.

Ain't gonna happen. China has been governed the very same way more or less competently for 3 to 4 thousand years. I used to think the Communists were a modern aberration but I have read a lot of Chinese history including Art of War and the other military classics over the last two years and know now that Mao was perfectly in sync with Shih Huang Di and so is Xi.

Popular overthrow is highly uncharacteristic of the Han Chines over the last four thousand years. Dynasties grow weak and decadent and are overthrown by a general or a barbarian chief who initiates a new dynasty. The Mao dynasty yet continues.

China must continue as it has been. It has been pretty much the same for the or four millennia.

If a dynasty is perceived to have lost the “mandate of heaven” there are rebellions.

“...............

The concept of the Mandate of Heaven was first used to support the rule of the kings of the Zhou dynasty (1046–256 BCE), and legitimize their overthrow of the earlier Shang dynasty (1600–1069 BCE). It was used throughout the history of China to legitimize the successful overthrow and installation of new emperors, including by non-Han Chinese monarchs such as the Qing (1636–1912).

Xi is and Mao was acutely aware of the concept, partly as the reason they have to tightly control the people. Every emperor from the Zhou to the Reds has been the head of a bureaucratic totalitarianism. Every one was quick to exterminate villages of their own subjects if someone in the village displeased him. This disease outbreak is strong evidence that they have lost the Mandate. They are probably pretty frantic right now to instill in the population and to competing princes (politburo members or, more likely, generals) that they have it under control and the people are safe.
